63% of the general population think vets are supported poorly or very poorly by the federal government. In 2023, the Call of Duty Endowment nonprofit grantees placed veterans into jobs at 1/15th the cost of Department of Labor Programs.

A study by @pewresearch shows that the median veteran household income is significantly higher than non-veteran households. That said, veterans are significantly more likely to be underemployed, according to Penn State’s Veterans Metrics Initiative. Increasing focus on high-quality jobs remains critical research shows median veteran household income is significantly higher than non-veteran households.
