On the topic of mana systems, I genuinely love Magic’s. Can it be frustrating? Sure, but it also allows for powerful and ridiculous things other games don’t.
I can play a deck with barely any creatures or one full of massive threats without people bitching about it.
Saw @LSXYZ9 had my favorite League of Legends character on one of his playmats, so naturally I had to ask about it. Later on, @CassieMatified hooked me up with this sick ass Kindred playmat with a foil finish. Easily my new favorite mat. Thank you so much!

My goal at every event isn’t necessarily to win, it’s to do the best I can. Putting the expectation of winning on myself every single time just creates unnecessary stress and pressure. I’ve still won plenty of events with this mindset.
TCGs have variance. You need both skill and luck to win any given tournament. I focus on playing my best with the cards I’m dealt rather than judging my success solely on whether I won the whole thing. Any deck I’ve played at an RQ (with one exception) I believed my deck could win the whole thing but was also a great best of candidate that rewarded me for brewing my own deck.
I didn’t know how much foreshadowing @MomSkyRB and I were doing.
Time to learn Yordle buddy.
Rogue decks don’t perform as well with open decklists. This only works if your rogue deck is actually just an A+ tier deck.

Some people have put hundreds of hours into mastering their legend specifically because they want to compete for Best Of. Now imagine you’ve spent all that time testing Sett, only for Kennen to take your best of. Suddenly you have to learn an entirely different deck just to compete for the award you’ve been working toward this whole time.
Announcing it 3 weeks before the event is rough. Wish they had just announced for the Vegas instead.

By the way; You can’t have a policy to not ban cards before important events and do this out of nowhere before the most important event of the year.
This changes a lot how you deckbuild and acts as a super-ban.
This in addition that we are in one of the unhealthiest meta ever.

Why take away something that makes Riftbound so unique? Best ofs are genuinely one of my favorite things about competitive Riftbound.
Like League of Legends, I love the idea of mastering a champion and being rewarded for it. It gives players an identity, builds storylines, and makes you want to root for certain people playing certain Legends.
I think Riot should lean MORE into this, not less. I get that this is only for Regional Championships right now, but I still really dislike the change. Being rewarded for mastering your Legend is such a cool part of Riftbound and I absolutely think it belongs at the RC level.

Kishimoto stated it really is Ikemoto's manga for Boruto. The new Naruto manga announced at NYCC is set in the time period after the original series but before Boruto begins. Both are part of the same timeline according to official announcements.
