Open source ftw!
Open source wins 👏
A huge shoutout to @AlgoCloudz for contributing a new feature to @PeraAlgoWallet.
It has been merged and will be included soon in the iOS 5.21.0 update.
This is what building on Algorand looks like.
Check it out 👇

It is always DNS.
Can we finally put it on chain and decentralize and secure with PQ multisigs ?
@TxnLab
Heads up @Netlify DNS has been compromised & attackers are actively redirecting dapps to drainer domains.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Netlify's Hosted DNS is reported operational with no incidents or compromises. Targeted DNS hijacks affected specific crypto project domains like flap.sh and fluxbeam.xyz, per security alerts, not Netlify infrastructure.

The food was great, but the previous manager hired 60 waiters for 10 tables. They started watering down the soup to pay the bills, and the customers eventually noticed.
With @FinTechWilliam trimming the staff and cleaning up the kitchen, it might earn its Michelin star again

Polymarket’s third-party incident today is rough. Hope everyone affected gets made whole quickly.
If you’re looking for an alternative where you connect your own wallet and trade through on-chain smart contracts where you control the keys: check us out.
Bridging and deposits are fully supported.
Genuinely interested? DM me and I’ll send you $10 to trade with.

Algorand is crazy at the moment.
We need some good markets for us all to make predictions about the future of Algorand.
What are some good ideas that the community can rally around predicting?
We will launch the top 3 suggestions and send whoever had the ideas $15 USDC each

Hey Algofam. The cross-chain atomic swap protocol is getting closer to public testing. Doing some final UX fixing while recording a presentation + demo.
Algorand's instant finality and blazing blocktime makes it ideal for this purpose.

The biggest disservice to Algorand Staci ever did was not aggressively pursuing JAWs to come back as CEO.
It does wonders having a leader who not only has a deep understanding of the technology, but is genuine and engages the community.
I hope the intern running William's X account can get more comms out for us.

For-profit regime change yet no one knows or understand who the shareholders of this for profit company are.
Need help understanding this part.

Literally what happens whenever there is a regime change or a shift in strategic direction.
Foundation went from a non-profit model to a for profit. It's a huge cultural shift and not for everyone.
Just a bunch of worthless twitter fud imo

Internally Apple has a system called "Minions" that distributes AI inference jobs across idle Macs. It's not unlike what @darkbloomai does on the public internet.
I used Darkbloom for a few months on idle machines and made about $60 farming my idle Macs out for inference. I recently turned it off because I want that compute for myself now. 😀
Back in the Xserve days, Apple had a service called Xgrid that would distribute jobs on a shared server network. I doubt Apple is interested in bringing serious enterprise services back in a public way, but super interesting to see there is internal development!

All built on server-side Swift by the way! Swift is the first ecosystem to mature Post-Quantum algorithms like MLDSA. This allowed us to move really quickly onto this. – at Best, Nederland
Rekeying is not quantum resistance it’s cryptographic agility.
This is cryptographic agility not quantum resistance - all criteria is based on @NIST guidance, it is all referenced on the site.
Rekeying is live and preserves addresses and assets: The criteria checks whether an existing account can introduce independently implemented signature verification without a network upgrade. Algorand’s native signature schemes require consensus activation, so selecting an already enabled scheme through rekeying does not satisfy that criteria.
> Can you use rekeying to change to a new signature scheme without requiring consensus changes? No 🚫
LogicSig offers a programmable alternative: an existing account can rekey to a program that defines its spending authorization. To meet this criteria, we must have proof of an implemented verification for a new signature scheme, without requiring a new protocol opcode or consensus change. The reviewed evidence did not establish a production mainnet implementation of that route.
> Is their a live implementation of a non-consensus required signature utilised? No 🚫
The crux of it: Rekeying allows you to pick from a registry of signature schemes, that registry requires a consensus level update - that is not cryptographic agility.
"the protocol maintains a registry of schemes, each individually gated by consensus parameters" - as per your docs. (dev.algorand.co/concepts/acc…)
If you have evidence to correct this, we can happily update it.

We’re releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model.
We’ve been consulting with the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study, and we have drawn on their advice and public recommendations to inform how we release these results.
