The greatest sources of hope I find are consistently among my fellow punks. Random strangers giving out food and clothes and resources for the joy of it, no questions asked.
I know mutual aid is a band-aid solution over larger systemic problems, but this is what love looks like.

I taught myself Live2D over the course of 4 months because I was poor, unemployed, and too ambitious for my own good. Best decision of my life.
There's a universe out there where I became a successful enough punk musician to live out of a van, constantly on tour. It's not this universe, but I'm sure it happened somewhere.
One of the hardest, but most important lessons I've had to learn as a creator is that there will always be people you can't please.
They will willfully misinterpret you. They will not hear a word you say. They will hate you. And they aren't worth your energy.
The United States Government just announced plans to livestream a public execution, in a blatantly obvious display of state-sponsored violence and cruelty.

I learned how to torrent as a teenager, but I only recently figured out how to change my search engine, and I feel like that says something about tech literacy in the modern age.
I'm very aware that my tech literacy is scattered at best - I didn't grow up with the Internet.
But when I make nearly half my income online, the holes in my knowledge are stark. I have modded DS games, but I lack very basic computer skills.
