Please grant Clemency for Tyreise D Swain/DOJ Case# C308084. Our friend, Mr. Swain, is an author, writer, and an Activist against Injustice, and has spent much of his time advocating for those who do not have a voice. @POTUS @WhiteHouse

In San Mateo County California, you can't send physical mail to people in jail. Instead, a private company scans the mail, digitizes it, then destroys the physical copy. @AboComix is challenging this policy in a lawsuit. READ ABOUT IT HERE: knightcolumbia.org/cases/abo…

The policy poses a grave threat to freedom of expression, association, privacy, and religion behind bars. We’re grateful to our clients for stepping up to challenge this egregious policy & to advocacy partner @SVDebug for uncovering crucial records. /end knightcolumbia.org/cases/abo…

Today, @knightcolumbia, @EFF & @SocialJusticeLF filed a complaint challenging a California jail system’s policy banning physical mail, which we argue violates the First and Fourth Amendments, federal religious freedom law & the CA constitution. /1 knightcolumbia.org/content/i…

From now until December 31st, we'll also be featuring the incredible comic artists whose work you can look forward to in the anthology, starting with Ty Swain!
[ID 1: Lime green background with an old school comic burst graphic. Text that reads: A.B.O. Comix holiday commissary fundraiser. 11.01.22 - 12.31.22. Featured Artist: Ty Swain. Tyreise (Ty) Swain is a multi-media artist incarcerated in AZ. They identify as multi-racial, pansexual & an "antediluvian non-binary entity." In addition to the comics they've produced with us, they co-authored a children's book with their wife about their two daughters' adventures. This year, their commissary donations will go to supporting their family. Swipe through for their art! Photo of Ty kneeling and staring at the camera with a slight smile. End of image description.]
