I aborted 2 of my children. I ran a Planned Parenthood clinic. Yet Jesus still forgave me, and changed me. If He can change me, He can change anyone.

All abortion is wrong. But mail-order abortion adds another danger: it moves the whole thing out of the clinic and into a woman’s home. No recovery room. No nurse. No doctor down the hall if something goes wrong. Just a woman, alone, hoping it goes the way the website said it would. I know what that looks like. I took abortion pills and ended up in a pool of my own blood on my bathroom floor. The industry calls this convenient. It’s only convenient for them. The woman and her child pay the price.

Since the Democrats have won, I am really looking forward to the rock bottom gas prices, the crazy cheap groceries, free healthcare and super inexpensive grocery bills!! That’s what they promised we would get!! Can’t wait!!

The truth will set you free.
🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami: "I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!" "It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?" "I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV "I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE." "THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT." "They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it." "This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate." A fire was just lit under this man. Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

Why did I become Catholic? My journey began with a question: Why did we never talk about Mary? I wanted to know more about the woman whose fiat—her “yes” to God—brought us our Savior. In Episode 10 of Abby Johnson Unscripted, I’m sharing where that question led me. 🎧 abbyj.com/podcast/

Today is Election Day. If you can vote, vote. I believe the law matters. It teaches, it restrains, and it communicates what a society values. But a ballot can’t walk a mom through her first hard month with a newborn, or help an abortion worker rebuild her life after she walks out of the clinic. That happens through people who show up, day after day, no matter who wins. So vote today. Pray tonight. Tomorrow, go back to loving the women, children, and families in front of you. The results will change a lot of things. They won’t change the mission.

Today is All Souls Day, when the Church prays for the faithful departed, those who died in God’s friendship and are still being purified before they see Him face to face. I think often about the children lost to abortion. I entrust them to God’s mercy, and I pray for their mothers and fathers, who carry grief many have never been able to name. Take a few minutes today to pray for someone who has died. Say their name out loud. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

You cannot control eight kids. You can barely predict them. I've learned that the hard way, over and over. You can plan, parent with intention, do everything "right," and your kids will still surprise you, sometimes in wonderful ways, sometimes in ways that keep you up at night. For a long time, that terrified me. I wanted certainty, and I wanted to know how it would all turn out. But motherhood doesn't work that way, and neither does faith. Somewhere along the way, raising eight kids taught me how to actually surrender. Not just say the word, but live it. It's not always easy to do my part faithfully and then let go of the outcome. But I try to remind myself that the outcome was never really mine to control in the first place. I still don't know exactly how my kids' stories will unfold. But I trust the One who does.

The abortion industry wants you to believe abortion pills are simple, safe, and convenient. Some even claim they're safer than Tylenol. But I know what that story leaves out. I was the one who handed the checks to women who became septic. I watched them come back in pain, bleeding and scared. And I sent them back out the door with the same script about how easy and safe it was supposed to be. More than half of all abortions today are chemical abortions. Nearly half of the women who take them end up seeking medical attention afterward. That's not a rare complication. That's the norm being hidden from the public. I often think about this when I go to Mass. God didn't choose to reach us through something rare or extraordinary. He chose bread and wine — something plain enough to be overlooked. And yet somehow it's Him, fully present. There's nothing quite like the grace of the Eucharist. It's a grace I didn't earn, but Christ still gives Himself, freely. His Body, His Blood, broken and poured out for us. Nothing I could ever build, achieve, or acquire will come close to what I receive in the Eucharist.

Buzzfeed recently rounded up jobs people said destroyed their mental health. Alongside teaching, nursing, and call centers, there it was: Planned Parenthood. One former employee called it mentally taxing. I'm not surprised. I lived it. No matter how you spin it, Planned Parenthood only continues to abuse and exploit women — both the ones who walk through its doors, and the people it hires to work there. See Planned Parenthood's name on the list for yourself: buzzfeed.com/kristatorres/mo…

Legend has it that in the 4th century, St. Ursula led a pilgrimage of virgins to Rome. Whether it was 11,000 or 11, tradition holds they'd espoused themselves to Christ and when the Huns demanded they abandon their vows, they refused, to the death. That's the kind of energy this generation needs. Fidelity doesn't wait for convenient circumstances. It's a decision made now, held onto no matter the cost. St. Ursula, pray for us.
