They lost their starting and backup Centers, so they moved a 6’6”, 320-pound LG, possibly a 1st-rounder, to Center… He balled.
Their starting Center is 6’6”, 320+ and has played every position.
I don’t want to hear that OL aren’t being developed. It’s happening, maybe just not at the logos you’re watching.
@GopherFootball OL coach, @Callybrian keeps developing OL that are more than “versatile”, they’re solutions to problems when the inevitable line shuffle happens.
Development is hard. But developing players that can play ALL 5 is something different.

I wrote about five true freshmen for the #Gophers that I believe have the best chance to earn playing time this fall.
WR Hayden Moore is still the guy I'm most bullish on for an immediate role, but more youngsters will have a shot to make an impact.

My son’s transformation is wild! 180lbs to 230lbs. He committed to play college bball then put on a helmet his senior year & fell in love w/football. Started freshman year as a D3 football player; ended as D2. He really went from SG to LB b/c he wanted to & believed he could.

Honored to receive the Ohio’s Finest Award at THE Ohio State Spring Clinic.
Appreciate @ryandaytime and the entire staff for the recognition.
The standard doesn’t change.

He declined his college bball offers, transformed his body & turned himself into a football player his hs senior year. Now he’s 6’3”+ 230lbs & loving his decision. Played 1 season of hs football; went from D3 to D2 his freshman year & even turned down an FCS because it wasn’t the best fit. He’s played TE, Edge, LB and H-back in just two years of football. I’m so proud of him.
The #57 is officially back in Dinkytown. Check out the new @GopherFootball merch.
