Interest rates may be heading higher again. But I don't think the average household needs to become a Fed watcher. A better question: Where would higher rates actually affect my financial life? 👇Here's everything you need to know:

“Moneymaxxing” is trending. And I think it could be one of the more positive financial trends to come out of social media. But it can be so much bigger than cutting subscriptions, collecting points, or finding a better rate on savings. A 🧵 on what comes next:

And here's the part of moneymaxxing I hope really catches on: “Why not me?” Why shouldn't I understand my 401(k)? Why shouldn't I learn about investing? Why shouldn't I understand my RSUs? Why shouldn't I learn how to help my parents prepare? Why shouldn't my family have a plan? Many of us weren't taught these things. We can learn them now.

Moneymaxxing doesn't need to mean squeezing every possible dollar out of life. To me, the more interesting version is curiosity: What else can I do? Why not me? Who can help me navigate it? That's when financial planning can become something bigger. Not just managing money. Planning for the life you want that money to support.
