Something wonderful.

.@CityOfVictoria Are the @modo_carcoop reserved spots actually reserved, or can anyone park there?

I have no idea how designers of physical systems do it. Iteration is hard enough in software. It’s almost impossible to finalize a design without real usage data.

I looked at the code for several major media outlets in Canada. They all publish opengraph tags so third party sites can easily link to their content. It’s not stealing, it’s the web working as intended. I’m disappointed in the federal government for their rhetoric over C-18.

Dear lovely people who followed me because of this… I’m great, but I’m not the guy you were meant to follow. Go free my little birds. Thank you for visiting.

I know this is 'my team' in politics, and so of course I'm biased, but I've got to say I'm really happy with politicians who want to understand and learn when it comes to rapidly emerging technologies.

Everyone should have a friend like @UberTumbleweed

I never saw “The Motion Picture” in theatres, but I watched it on my Oculus Rift a couple years ago and the scale blew my mind. This movie is so much better on the big screen.

If Twitter goes down, I need to say this first: @GraceALore got back to my email about conversion therapy and she confirmed that she did read the proposed legislation. We don't agree on everything here, and I'll continue the conversation, but I wanted y'all to know she answered.

Grace Lore failed to respond to my inquiries around the legislation to ban conversion therapy. I'd love to hear about concrete action she's taken to stand with the LGBTQ2S+ community, not just empty rhetoric.

If you're a voter in Victoria, please give this a read: capitaldaily.ca/news/viva-vi… Vote for whoever reflects your values, just be sure you know which values they'll be advocating for if elected.

Once I attended an event where the host thanked me for doing some work on their campaign, but they couldn't find me because I wore a suit instead of my very '70s leather jacket. I was standing roughly five meters from them.

“Let that sink in!” someone said. I can’t stop laughing at this.

This is the best misdirected tweet I've ever gotten.

Nerdy and fun. I never played Myst until the Oculus version. If you've got a VR headset kicking around, I highly recommend it.

Spilled coffee on my keyboard. Swapped it out for spare. Was getting super frustrated at a key that seemed to be stuck down on the spare when I realized the coffee one was still connected by Bluetooth. Technology is wonderful.

My buddy Keith is doing a couple of shows for his birthday next week. The trailer just dropped for the one next Friday: youtu.be/1Ir5tcqW8WY

Robert Service worked for a bank down the street from my office. I remind myself of this every so often.
