I spent Mashujaa Day at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Kenya’s Multipartisan Youth Dialogue, engaging with fellow young leaders across parties to address political barriers, build a shared youth agenda, and shape Kenya’s future together. Grateful to @Beatricenjeri49 for the invite.

Grateful to have served as the Lead Researcher for the Electoral Law and Governance Institute for Africa (ELGIA) in Kibera and Mukuru kwa Reuben investigating the state of governance and people-centred development in Kenya.
Yvonne Mukui, Director of Giving Light to Society, is a fellow Steering Committee member of the Nairobi County Youth Forum under the Sheria Ya Vijana Project. She champions gender inclusive development and human rights.
The Nairobi County Youth Forum and KYCAC reviewed Kenya’s National Environment Policy 2026 draft, proposing inclusive, practical solutions for waste management, climate finance, AI access, youth participation and accountability.
