Introducing verUSD.
The first stablecoin for AI agents, with more than $100,000,000 in institutional launch commitments from @AnimocaVentures, @FigmentCapital, @Sfermion_, @PentosVentures, @ark_stream, and others.
verUSD launched in Seoul last month as the first stablecoin for AI agents, backed by more than $100M in institutional launch commitments, and since then Korea’s business press has been asking what it takes for an agent to act on someone’s behalf. @BurntBanksy told Hankyung that it starts with proof, because Verona verifies what an agent needs to know about a person without ever exposing who they are. An agent needs verified context to make a decision and a dollar built for it to pay, and Verona provides both.

I used to see @AbstractChain and @Sophon and our biggest competitors. These were two people in the space that aligned on a vision for the future of crypto.
We all knew that in order for crypto to be viable in the mainstream it needed to be invisible.
We all knew that the only solution was something new as it wasn't conducive to build on a stack that wasn't aligned with this idea. Most early crypto relied on people buying the underlying token as a medium of exchange
Seeing both of these L2s spin down is very sad.
I do still firmly believe that crypto does need to be invisible. I think the boys over at @Sophon came to the same conclusion with their product studio.
Rather than speaking about crypto in terms of how we can make it better, we need to show the benefits. It's why at @verona_dev we focus on verification. We still use all the same tools we build as we're lucky to have seen some pretty good traction with @earnos_io but we're in the era of show not tell.
Really sad to see @AbstractChain wind down but regardless am bullish for the future.

Your AI already knows your job, your health, who you're texting at 2am. Nobody asked if it should. Today @ZetaChain and @verona_dev are opening the first study to find out, before the companies building this decide for you.
ZetaChain remembers what you tell it. Verona proves what’s true about you.
@ZetaChain is bringing the Private Memory Layer for AI to Verona. More than 300,000 people have joined @AnumaAI since February, and they’re the first we’re asking what an AI should remember about them and what it should never keep.
That’s what ZetaChain and Verona are asking together in the first study of its kind.
We’re asking Anuma users, and Verona’s own community, and the survey is open to anyone who uses AI. It’s anonymous, needs no account and takes about five minutes, and it closes on October 27.
Every AI you use is going to remember you. That part is settled. What isn’t settled is whether you decide what it keeps, and whether anyone can prove what it knows. Tell us where you’d draw the line.

Verona proves what's true. Billions proves the agent is yours.
@billions_ntwk is bringing verified agent identity to Verona, so an agent that acts on verified facts can also show who it acts for and who answers if it gets something wrong.
Before your AI agent spends your money, two things matter: are the facts real, and is the agent really yours? @Verona_dev verifies the facts. Billions links the agent to a verified human. Here’s how to set up your OpenClaw agent in under 3 minutes.
An agent that knows true things and can prove who it works for can be handed real authority to shop and to pay. That's the bar, and it's what Verona and Billions are working toward together.
The raffle at the Verona booth was one of our favourite moments at KBW, so we have brought it online. If you missed Seoul, you can enter now, and if you entered at the booth, you can try again!
Every verification runs as a proof on Verona, which means none of your account data is shared, stored, or exposed. Your information stays encrypted, and the only answer that comes back is true or false.
Open to residents of South Korea. Entries close October 13.
