Been hanging out with only women the last 48h, mostly gay women, and let me tell you, my quality of life has immediately increased by 500%.

Techno and house are Black American but dance music overall is a product of the African diaspora and isn't limited to techno and house. How many times does it have to be repeated?

The oversaturated DJ market has created an opportunity for people to take advantage of those who have worked extremely hard to lay a foundation for their careers.

If you don’t have a clear budget and a respectful approach do not even bother trying to book somebody like me.

Love is blind feels like it should be called Love bombing. Isn’t this a whole situation a classic recipe for disaster?

Setting boundaries in all my relationships is my highest form of self care after trusting my intuition and putting my sense of safety first. Crazy to think I survived this long letting people just do whatever they wanted.

Woke this morning thinking of the breathtaking moral bankruptcy of Ukraine trying to recruit Africans to join its army, while treating Africans in Ukraine worse than animals. This is sub-imperialism and military trafficking.

I'm seeing lots of "Americans never went through war on their homeland" type b.s. PLEASE remember that U.S. has Native folks (American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians) who remember EVERYTHING! Be mindful in not erasing us and the experiences we are STILL going through – at Los Angeles, CA

Might be a bit of a controversial opinion, but I think a little more exclusivity in New York nightlife wouldn’t hurt right now
