I came in and turned on the news to see whether Trump was still president. It was Emily on the Five. Smart, thoughtful, serious. And then a rant by @JesseBWatters --loud, obnoxious, mean--cheered on by Tyrus. So I posted this and headed back outside.
This has been weighing on my heart for 24 hours since I first heard the news.
My heart is broken for Cindy Crawford and her family as they mourn the loss of their precious son, Presley, whose death is familiar for too many American families.
I have met so many mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers who have lost a loved one to illicit drugs— no other way to put it, they are a weapon of mass destruction.
These deaths are not just a statistics—each life lost was wrapped in dreams, hopes, and families who miss them every day.
The fentanyl crisis continues to devastate communities across the country. We must end this scourge before it destroys a generation.
Rest in eternal peace, Presley🙏🏼
I've found a way to watch The Five. I just turn the volume off when @JesseBWatters or @Gutfeldfox talks. I like to hear what Dana and Emily are thinking. Gutfeld does interrupt a lot so it's not perfect.
I sometimes feel like taking a break and checking the news. "The Five" is on but I find @JesseBWatters increasingly creepy and @Gutfeldfox perversely vulgar. Compagno's moral compass is nice but not enough.
@Gutfeldfox perversely vulgar.
The Five was surprisingly interesting today, with neither @JesseBWatters nor @greggutfeld on. FoxNews has a terminal case of the clown factor.
Fox News has some classy pundits, but no show with @Gutfeldfox can maintain any class--which I suspect makes him proud. Yelling "in your face!" is not comic brilliance. I didn't mind him on Red Eye, but he's ruined Fox News for me. I taught middle school--he would fit in.
The Five comes on at about the time I come inside to sit for a while, and it would be nice to find out the day's news. Unfortunately, it's pretty much unwatchable if @JesseBWatters and @Gutfeldfox are on. I wish FN would model calm civic argument rather than red meat hatred.
I would like to find a conservative or moderate panel discussion of politics without the clown factor: @Gutfeldfox and @KennedyNation
On the Five, Harold Ford tried to make a simple point about working together. @Gutfeldfox kept interrupting, proving that all jackassery doesn't come from the left.
The Five was interesting today--both @Gutfeldfox and #JesseBWatters were missing, which permitted various opinions. I'm more conservative than either of those guys but they are SO offensive.
I'm more conservative by a lot than @JesseBWatters or @Gutfeldfox--and I wish they would let Jessica speak. They act like toddlers with diarrhea . . .
Geeze Fox. @Gutfeldfox is way out of his depth trying to explain Kirk.
Do we need a male Karen? Why does @IngrahamAngle provide a platform for a daily trivial whine? I change the channel when @RaymondArroyo shows up.
The only pileated woodpecker I've ever seen in my yard. It's a spectacular bird--the largest forest bird in North America. I think it's a female--I could be more certain if it turned a little more toward me.
The elderberries are doing well. We get heavy clusters of fruit at the
What about all that smoke from unmanaged fires?
When @JesseBWatters and @Gutfeldfox start yelling over the democrat on the Five, I turn it off. I don't usually agree with Jessica, but worse is the scornful, mocking tone of Watters and Gutfeld.
It would be nice if Fox News maintained standards as high as CNN or MSNBC (or ABC, CBS, NBC) when it comes to profanity and obscenity. @Gutfeld (and Tyrus and Kennedy) revel in vulgarity and sophomoric, scatalogical "edginess" that I don't find funny. More class: Perino, Baier
Hmm. I'm a Christian American who loves to listen to @benshapiro.
