The NU Foundation supports many areas across the university that wouldn’t be possible with state-appropriated funds alone—from major capital construction projects and purchase of complex research equipment to scholarships and emergency assistance for students.
Brian has served the Foundation—and through it, the University of Nebraska System—since 2012. Under his leadership, the Foundation’s donor base has steadily grown year over year, and the Foundation has regularly been ranked in the top U.S. public higher education institutions for funds received.

When John Cook Arena was renovated, the original championship banners were put up for auction; but there was one that I knew needed to stay here at home.
It was a true joy to gift her the 2006 banner, celebrating the national championship she helped win as a @Huskers student-athlete.
