ALT As CAMH powerfully reminds us: “Living with mental health challenges often forces people to hide behind a ‘mask’ to protect themselves from judgment and discrimination. But the heavier the stigma, the heavier the mask becomes, and the more isolated we feel.” Source: https://cmha.ca/mental-health-week/

ALT The Trustee Hub is an initiative of The Neighbourhood Group (formerly St. Stephen’s Community House) to support community led groups across Toronto who have received grants to carry out their initiatives. As a long-established charity in Toronto, we know the impact of grassroots community engagement and advocacy firsthand and how essential it is to generate meaningful social change. We leverage our resources and institutional supports to further the impact of community led work.

ALT We support you! We celebrate you! You are the change makers, the leaders, and the difference we need in our communities. Keep building the difference🚀 Source: https://www.who.int/news/item/25-03-2025-new-who-guidance-calls-for-urgent-transformation-of-mental-health-policies Since 2012, Branded has empowered Black, Newcomer, and Most Vulnerable Person (MVP) youth with real tools to build their businesses. The Trustee Hub is an initiative of The Neighbourhood Group (formerly St. Stephen’s Community House) to support community-led groups across Toronto who have received grants to carry out their initiatives.

ALT Access to funding remains a major barrier for Black youth entrepreneurs, and Branded continues to rise to the occasion with powerful programming and support! To all the incredible volunteers who helped make this event a success. As Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of @who said: “Despite rising demand, quality mental health services remain out of reach for many people. This new guidance gives all governments the tools to promote and protect mental health and build systems that serve everyone.” These stories are medicine, and their voices are powerful tools for healing and change.

ALT This week, we encourage you to reflect on your unique gift and consider how you can use it to make a lasting impact 💪🏼 Whether it’s through your time, your talents, or your treasures, every contribution strengthens our communities and drives positive change. Fundraising isn’t just about raising money it’s about raising hope!
