Tomorrow-S12 and S13, our 12th and 13th microwave sounders, launched October 1 on SpaceX's Transporter-18. Their scans are already being woven into our modeling, improving our understanding of the current state of the atmosphere to improve predictions and decisions globally. Take a look at some of their first scans of the atmosphere!

Our Q3 release is out. It follows one question all the way through: which of my sites should I watch this week? Gale now answers it about your own assets, the answer becomes an insight event your workflows and agents can act on, and a report you can share. Thank you to the product, design, and engineering teams who built it. The full release, with the film: okt.to/Tid9PL

Our team is at @MetTechExpo in Amsterdam this week. Come meet us at Stand J30, Hall 12, through Thursday. Ask us what our microwave sounders see: four of this year's storms, read through the cloud. #MTX26 #TECO2026

A storm can form and deepen between two satellite passes. Yesterday, Tomorrow-S12 and S13 launched to keep our Gen-1 constellation fresh. Revisit is now well under an hour. After Gen-1 comes DeepSky: five instruments on each spacecraft, being built now. okt.to/NmbPUI

What made last week's nor'easter different It came early. This was a September nor'easter, arriving with the trees still in full leaf, the shore still open and the last weekend of the regular baseball season on the calendar, and that timing shaped the damage. Trees came down from New Jersey to New Hampshire and took power with them. Some shore businesses lost the end of their season. The Red Sox moved a Fenway game to Florida for the first time in team history, and the Global Citizen Festival cancelled for the first time in 14 years. It also stayed, with nearly six days of wind from Virginia to New England, and it peaked on a full-moon weekend, when six tide gauges from the Outer Banks to Manhattan topped out within 90 minutes of each other and Duck, NC came within nine inches of its Hurricane Isabel record.

Nor'easter forecast, Fri Sep 25: New England's turn starts tonight. After days of flooding on the Mid-Atlantic coast, the storm stalls offshore through the weekend, so the wind, rain and high water stay for days. The strongest gusts reach the coast from the Jersey Shore to Cape Cod from tonight into Saturday night, the heaviest rain falls on eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and coastal flooding comes back with each high tide through Sunday. Swipe for the forecast region by region, the storm hour by hour, rain, when and where the wind peaks, the tides and more. The fall equinox is today, so here's what rain took from summer's weekends. Charleston and Miami lost 10 of 16; Oklahoma City lost none, because its rain came almost entirely after dark. Find your city at the end.

We are enthused to announce that NOAA has selected Tomorrow.io for the Multiple Award Space-Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM) IDIQ, the vehicle NESDIS uses to acquire commercial satellite observations. Tomorrow.io was selected across multiple instruments on a contract that spans seven categories of space-based environmental data, runs for ten years, and operates under the ProTech 2.0 program with a shared $8 billion ceiling. This Activities feature looks nice. It also looks familiar 😉 Had to scroll a long way back through the old Twitter archive to find when we shipped ours. Took us all the way back to 2020! 🙂
