When I was in college, my friend told me “when someone compliments you or gives you praise, accept it like you would a bouquet of flowers, and say ‘thank you’, but then at night, go home and lay that bouquet at God’s feet and say ‘here, this belongs to you’.” So that’s what I’m doing. I’m so blessed and honored. I’ve won Dove Awards before for producing other people’s projects, but this is the first time one of my own artist projects won. So it’s special and means a lot. But it was definitely a massive team effort. It literally took hundreds of talented people. I’m so thankful to every single person who was a part of this entire process. I truly never thought this would happen... but here we are. After “The Birth Of A King,” I knew I had to tell the other half of the story. It was just gonna be an album.
