At 15 years old, Skips is looking for a second chance. π He loves being in the company of people, and is looking for a best friend who he can cuddle up close to. We may be biased, but we think life is better when you have a Skips by your side. themayhew.org/cats/skips/

CiCi arrived at Mayhew as a young kitten. Since she was adopted, she's settled right into her new home. She gets on well with her four-legged friend, Layla and her adopters shared: "It's been great to watch her grow and become part of our family." #HappilyRehomed
Carla was abandoned outside our doors, doing her best to protect her kitten from the cold. We brought her into warmth and care. She gave birth to six more kittens, all now safe and loved. Your kindness can help others like her this Christmas. π bit.ly/4qQlMHi

Our favourite kind of posts... look who's feeling proud to have found his family. π₯° Goodbyes can be bittersweet, but nothing makes us happier than knowing a rescue animal has found the loving home they deserve. π
With #NationalBlackCatDay just around the corner, it's the paw-fect opportunity to share this heart-warming update: "I saw that black cats are often overlooked, but our little black panther is amazing and it baffles me why people wouldnβt want a black cat." #HappilyRehomed
Important announcement: we think you should stop what you're doing and head over to the Mayhew adoption page to meet our new arrivals. πΆ We know Hettie, Badger, Holly-Angela, and Lumi would love to say hello (or woof - same thing π). π themayhew.org/dogs/.
How Du Plessis sleeps knowing we won't stop looking until he's found his forever home. He was found abandoned in a cat carrier beside some bins and was in need of medical care. π He's feeling much better now and loves snuggling up. themayhew.org/cats/du-plessiβ¦

Just a puppy, Ryan came to us with a severely fractured left elbow. Due to the severity of the injury, the decision was made to amputate. He's been adjusting well, but will need ongoing support as he settles into life on three paws. themayhew.org/dogs/ryan/ #adoptme #frenchbulldog
Bailey wanted to wish you a very happy Friday and thank you for helping animals like him find the forever homes they deserve. π He's doing well in his new home and felt it impaw-tant to share that he is receiving lots of love every day. π₯° #HappilyRehomed
More abandonments. π Sadly, this is the harsh reality of the day-to-day at our animal home in North West London. Recently, these kittens were abandoned in a cardboard box outside our door. Tofu, Tempeh, Soya, Noochi and Bean are now receiving all of the loving care they need. π
As part of our Pet Refuge programme, Alfie and Murphy came to stay with us for six weeks when their owner went into hospital for emergency surgery. Here they are being reunited. π We are so proud to have been able to keep them together.
Adoption updates are our favourite! π₯° Here's a lovely update from Stan's new family: "We absolutely love having Stan around - he brings so much joy and fun. He always wants to play, but also wants the occasional snuggle." #HappilyRehomed
