Addressed the side event “Beyond Survival- Restoring Dignity, Reclaiming Rights: A Rights-Based Approach to International Cooperation for Mine Victim Assistance and Reintegration,” co-organized by Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan in partnership with Permanent Missions of Algeria, Uganda, Mozambique, as well as @UNMAS, @theGICHD and @URGthinktank in the framework of the 63rd session of the @UN_HRC . The side event explored the human rights impacts of landmines, the need for dedicated support for victims and survivors, as well as the linkage between mine action, peace and SDGs.
