The Daily POW

Only 23 days left until I can stop daydreaming of @altaskiarea pow runs. This particular day back on February 17, 2018 Alta had just received 24” in 24 hours but what was particularly interesting about this storm was that the valleys did even better with Sandy reporting 25”.

What a storm! Now can we have another?

I heard it might snow next week so I got excited and started digging through the archives only to find this clip from 1/20/19 during a 40” dump where @dash_longe through one of the largest, if not the largest 3’s I’ve ever seen thrown off the top of Bad News.

Anyone know the name of this well-hidden chute? I’ve yet to figure out its name. On lower snow years it never fills in but on this particular day back on March 26, 2023 @altaskiarea had just received 66.5 inches over the course of five days filling it quite nicely.
