One of the most difficult things about growing on 𝕏 is staying authentic to yourself. It’s not getting yourself hijacked by trends, patterns, & monetization. Obviously, I would like to make more money on this app. I see how it’s done…. And it’s so tempting 😓 what hurts is having my original content fall into the void & click bait garbage succeed. I don’t know how to fix that. I feel as if in order to get my content out there, I HAVE to post a bunch of clickbait crap in order to keep my account “relevant” My heart & passion has been into changing the culture of this Country, bringing back true patriotism, and most importantly, enjoy the journey with my family. I don’t have a lot of ad money to push my content out there. In fact I have almost no money because of the time off work I’ve taken to dedicate everything I have into the Patriots Prayer network & growing my “brand” I think it just hurts when almost every last dollar of mine is spent right as all of the content I post disappears into the void. I look out into the world & see “influencers” of all kind flaunting their accolades & wish I could do more to compete, but something in my brain refuses the “sell out” opportunities I’ve had already. I legit don’t even know how much longer I can compete in this sphere with the extremely limited monetization I’ve been able to achieve so far. I know it’s not all about the money, but I’ll tell you what, dedicating so much time and effort into this & seeing myself fall behind for so long is painful. It’s demoralizing when the only content of mine that goes viral and accrues more followers is what I consider brain rot. I don’t know if I should take a step back or keep pushing forward. I don’t know if my content is irrelevant or I’m just not being seen. Watching my son play today warmed my heart, and also made me sad… because this Christmas we’re in the same exact position as we were last Christmas, and the one before. Barely getting by living paycheck to paycheck. Yes I’ve been able to go to range day and experience very cool things & meet new people, but at the end of the day, it just feels selfish doing that if all it does is provide a good experience for me. I’m still figuring out how to navigate this arena, & still stay true to who I am, while also trying to compete with the already financially successful folk I have found myself around. I learned a lot from this past trip, and hope to one day have the capability to put on events like “Range day” I’ve just felt stuck as of late. I’m trying to continue having faith the best I can, it has just been difficult. I really do enjoy this for the most part, I think I’m just taxed out as of late. Thank God I have my family. 🙏 Imma take a small break.. and be back soon. Love yall 🫡🇺🇸
