Gaza is not a genocide. Genocide has a definition. The 1948 Genocide Convention says intent to destroy a people "in whole or in part." Not "a war I don't like." Intent. Now the numbers. Hamas's own Health Ministry says 74,000 dead in two years. Hamas's numbers. No split between civilians and fighters. Israel says at least 22,000 of them were fighters. Ukraine? 525,000 to 600,000 soldiers dead. 17,000+ civilians. More than seven times Gaza. Where's the Ukraine flag in your bio? Proportion? About 3% of Gaza. Rwanda wiped out three-quarters of the Tutsis. The Holocaust killed two out of every three Jews in Europe. Putting Gaza in that category is an insult to those victims. And remember who started it. October 7. 1,200 murdered. 251 hostages dragged into Gaza. Then a Hamas official promised to do it "a second, a third, a fourth" time. You attack the one country everyone knows hits back ten times harder, and act shocked when it does? "Why is it all rubble?" Because Hamas dug 350+ miles of tunnels under the cities, and U.S. intelligence says it ran operations out of Gaza's biggest hospital. Hide your army under a city and the city becomes the battlefield. "But the UN said..." A UN commission said. Not a court. I don't care about either side to be honest. This conflict has gone on for generations and it'll keep going long after we're gone. Not my problem. Shouldn't be yours. This is a blood war on the other side of the world that has absolutely nothing to do with you. Lock in. Focus on winning at life.
