How Max Went From "Some Attention" to Boston College? We break down each stage of the College Baseball Recruiting & Advising Process: 1. Before 2. Objective College Recruiting Evaluation 3. Personalized Recruiting Game Plan 4. Promotional Process 5. College Recruiting Results 6. College Commitment * Whether you want to handle recruiting on your own or see if you qualify for our professional college advising program, this story will help you. 1. Before Max wasn't starting from zero. He was already talented and already getting looks from programs. But in today's landscape, "some attention" isn't the same as the right attention. The family knew a promising profile could still stall out without more eyes on it, and more doors opened. 2. Objective & Honest College Recruiting Evaluation After one of our expert College Recruiting Advisors evaluated Max's video, stats, and grades, we met with the family to go over: - Honest & objective scouting report - Video & metrics evaluation - Family's college goals - Existing target list of colleges - College prospect potential We also dug into their current recruiting efforts, the gap between where Max stood and where the family wanted him to end up, and whether the partnership was a fit both ways under our Selection Criteria: - Quality Academic Standing - Qualified College Baseball Prospect - Open & Coachable Student-Athlete - Open & Coachable Parents - Character Commitment On & Off the Field More Than an Advisor What stood out most to the Goldberg family wasn't just the results — it was the relationship. Max's personal recruiting advisor, John Cackowski (@cack92), reached out to multiple schools on his behalf and compiled a detailed scouting report showcasing his abilities. But beyond the strategy and the outreach, he became something more valuable: a trusted sounding board and ultimately, a friend. 3. Personalized Recruiting Game Plan Once the family enrolled, we got moving: - Online Recruiting Profile set up - Metrics & stats verified - Video reviewed and professionally edited - Strategic target list built - Promotion & recruiting exposure plan developed - Camp and showcase options evaluated strategically 4. Promotional Process Max's personal recruiting advisor, John Cackowski, went to work: - Compiled a detailed scouting report showcasing Max's abilities - Direct outreach to multiple college programs on his behalf - Ongoing coaching calls and communication with the family throughout 5. College Recruiting Results As Max's father put it: SportsForce brought many more eyes onto his son. More programs. More coaches. More doors opened, turning a promising profile into a full-blown Division 1 opportunity. 6. College Commitment Why Boston College? Max's dad didn't hesitate: it was the best fit and the best opportunity. Not the flashiest offer. Not the loudest pitch. Simply the right combination of program, coaches, and future. - Division 1 - High academic - Right coaching staff - Right athletic AND academic fit - A dream he's chased his entire life "Even if your son is already getting some attention, don't assume that's enough. The right guidance can open doors you didn't know existed and turn a good opportunity into the perfect fit." — Max's father Good luck as an Eagle, Max 🦅 @Max_Goldberg23 Attention Players & Parents: Max's journey is proof that even talented athletes who are already getting noticed can benefit from the right guidance. Over the last 15 years, SportsForce has helped more than 1,000 student-athletes and families navigate the recruiting process — saving families an average of $80,000 in college expenses along the way.
