🔥 WILL SOUTHERN BE MBP’S PRESEASON #1 TEAM IN THE SWAC? 👀🐆
Southern is heading into 2027 with a big-time recruiting class and a strong group of returners ready to make some noise.
And they could have TWO early candidates for 2027 SWAC Player of the Year:
⭐ Ryan Hunter — 2026 MBP HBCU All-Star
⭐ Peryn Bland — Troy/Chipola transfer & former MBP HS All-American
Hunter hit .381 in SWAC play in 2026, and Bland adds another impact bat to a lineup with serious potential. (Southwestern Athletic Conference)
Both are already starting the fall 🔥🔥
