InEight Schedule helps capital construction teams create accurate, reliable project plans faster with practical AI, collaborative markup, and integrated risk management. By combining powerful CPM scheduling with an intuitive cloud-based experience, it keeps field teams and project leaders aligned, eliminates disconnected side schedules, and improves project predictability.
In this SourceForge Product Demo Showcase, Jordan Brooks, Director of Products at @ineightsoftware, demonstrates InEight Schedule, a construction scheduling platform designed to connect estimating, CPM planning, risk analysis, and field execution. The demo highlights InEight Schedule’s project and portfolio dashboards, DCMA-based schedule quality checks, browser-based plan views, customizable activity details, and AI-assisted suggestions powered by an organization’s own historical schedules and productivity data. Jordan also demonstrates collaborative markup workflows that let subject matter experts review durations and risks before a baseline is locked, Monte Carlo risk analysis, schedule comparisons, and short interval planning tools that connect field-level work plans with the master CPM schedule. Together, these capabilities help contractors and project owners improve schedule accuracy, build team alignment, identify risks earlier, and close the gap between office planning and real-time field execution.

FormAssembly helps organizations collect clean, compliant data and turn it into reliable automated workflows from the moment it is submitted. With secure forms, powerful integrations, and AI-assisted workflow creation, FormAssembly enables teams to maximize their Salesforce, automation, and AI investments while protecting mission-critical data.
In this episode, we speak with Josh Strehle, Director of Product Marketing at @FormAssembly, about why online forms have become much more than simple contact pages—and why they now serve as the front door for sensitive data across healthcare, higher education, finance, government, and other regulated industries. Strehle explains how organizations use forms to collect applications, medical information, financial details, student records, race registrations, and other critical data, while showing why security, privacy, branding, validation, and compliance must be considered at the point of collection rather than after information reaches a CRM or other system.
The conversation explores where free and freemium form builders begin to fall short, particularly when organizations need reliable performance at scale, deeper customization, strong integrations, and better control over who can access submitted information. Strehle explains how FormAssembly’s direct Salesforce and HubSpot integrations help prevent duplicate records, reduce manual data cleanup, prefill information users have already provided, and validate data before it enters a system of record. He also discusses encryption, masked fields, audit logs, access controls, direct integrations without third-party middleware, and the importance of evaluating every system and handoff that touches sensitive information.
The episode also examines the growing complexity of compliance requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, FERPA, PCI, SOC 2, and FedRAMP High. Strehle shares how FormAssembly is working toward a policy library and AI-assisted guidance to help organizations identify compliance gaps and operate within clearer guardrails. He explains how businesses can migrate scattered or paper-based forms quickly through file-to-web-form conversion, and shares the Boston Marathon’s use of FormAssembly to collect information from thousands of participants. His broader message is that forms should not be treated as an afterthought: when organizations invest in secure, trustworthy, well-integrated data collection, they can protect users, improve data quality, reduce manual work, support compliance, and create a stronger foundation for automation and future AI-powered operations.

Dash is an AI teammate that lives inside Slack or Microsoft Teams, connects to your existing business tools, and handles real work like reporting, customer follow-ups, marketing audits, and product publishing. It gives teams extra capacity without adding another app or hire, while keeping people in control through approval-based actions and enterprise-grade security.
In this SourceForge Product Demo Showcase, Vinay Patankar, co-founder and CEO of Process Street, demonstrates @dashpupai, an AI teammate designed to work inside Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Vinay explains that Dash aims to make AI useful across an entire organization, not just for technically advanced users, by fitting into tools teams already use. It can answer questions by searching company information, connect with thousands of tools, carry out tasks, create scheduled reports, and suggest ways to automate repetitive work. The demo shows Dash finding maintenance-policy information across systems, creating an employee kudos card, and making website updates.
The conversation also covers safeguards: teams can control permissions and data access, and Dash requires approval for write or delete actions by default. Its shared memory and understanding of an organization can help coworkers benefit from knowledge added by others. At the time of the recording, Dash was in beta, with Vinay inviting viewers to try it and mentioning additional credits for SourceForge viewers.

Elevate EDI gives small businesses fully managed EDI software without the complexity, hidden fees, or long-term contracts. With fast onboarding, transparent pricing, seamless integrations, and responsive human support, Elevate makes EDI easy to launch, manage, and scale.
In this episode, we speak with Jim Gonzalez, CEO of @EdiSupportLLC, about why electronic data interchange can become such a difficult and expensive challenge for small businesses. Gonzalez explains what EDI is, how it differs from an ERP system, and how documents such as purchase orders, acknowledgments, shipment notices, and invoices help businesses exchange information with major retail, logistics, healthcare, and pharmaceutical partners. He also shares his personal journey from programmer and EDI implementer to consultant and founder of Elevate, a cloud-based managed EDI platform built to better serve small and midsize businesses.
The conversation explores what companies should do after landing a major retail account and being told they must become EDI compliant before shipping. Gonzalez warns businesses to conduct their own research instead of automatically accepting a trading partner’s recommendation, especially because providers may require long-term contracts, charge hidden setup or data fees, offer limited support, or take a percentage of revenue. He encourages companies to evaluate contract length, pricing increases, implementation responsibilities, customization options, ERP and API integrations, service-level agreements, and the availability of responsive human support.
The episode also examines why EDI providers need to balance automation with human expertise. Gonzalez explains that artificial intelligence can assist with mapping, development, reminders, and standardized processes, but it cannot yet replace experienced professionals who understand a company’s unique workflows, conditional rules, and business requirements. His broader message is that EDI does not have to be overwhelming: with the right provider, transparent pricing, modern infrastructure, knowledgeable support, and careful due diligence, small businesses can reduce costs, avoid unnecessary lock-ins, and build reliable systems that support long-term growth.
