The entire function of being healthy is to ultimately live an interesting life. No one cares about your protein shakes, pre-workout, recovery scores & the extra inch you added to your biceps Being healthy should allow you to explore, travel & squeeze the zest out of life.

What could the US look like if, instead of trying to get "off the grid," everyone tried contributing to the grid?

Simple, clear purpose and principles give rise to complex and intelligent behavior. Complex rules and regulations give rise to simple and stupid behavior. —Dee Hock

Sprint more. It’s anabolic. Acceleration: • 1 min rest for every 10m distance. • 100-200m total covered in session. Quality > Quantity. ‘Suicides’ with minimal rest are not high quality sessions.

Wisdom from Dan John, "...to be good at really anything, you must really have a broad experience in all kinds of things that make you more valuable for your business, team, school, or community."

A lot of people who aren’t lean and fit think that if they don’t have a serious health issue now, then they must be healthy enough. But the truth is, the further you are from being lean and fit, the higher the risk something could go wrong later. Don’t wait. Take action now.

Most nutrition advice wasn’t built for people like us. It assumes: Set meal times Minimal stress Plenty of sleep Unlimited tracking Try that during a 10-hour shift. Real-world fuel = simple, powerful, flexible. Hydration. Protein. Produce. Execution.
All nutrients contain calories. Not all calories contain nutrients.

The average American eats and lives like they’re trying to die by 65, and then their family blames "genetics" when they do.

Nothing like some 5:30 am kettlebell work after a 3 am fire call.

Responded to a fire call on Mother's Day. No time to warm up. No time to think. Just move, carry, breathe, lead. This is why I train. Not for PRs. Not for aesthetics. But for capacity under pressure. #ShiftAthlete #HybridTraining #FirstResponderStrength

You don’t need perfect macros or a fancy gym. You need a system that respects your reality. That’s what I’m building — one shift, one meal, one rep at a time. Follow for tools, systems, and honest fuel. #ShiftAthlete #SystemsOverWillpower
