Say it with me: If someone shows up to a school with an AR-15 ready to kill, it's already too late.
We have to act LONG BEFORE someone EVER have a chance to shoot us in our classrooms. Ban assault weapons. Pass universal background checks and safe storage laws.

None of the NRA loons will be able to explain how a 14 year-old had access to a firearm in an environment with supposedly adequate gun laws, so instead, they'll yell as loudly as they can that an amendment written in the time of muskets is more important than your kids' lives.

Hint: If you worry less about what gay and trans people do in public and worry more about what YOU do in public, everyone will be better off, yourself included.

The WGA reached a tentative agreement with the AMPTP. Today, our Negotiating Committee, WGAW Board, and WGAE Council all voted unanimously to recommend the agreement. The strike ends at 12:01 am. Check out our deal at wgacontract2023.org/deal. #WGAStrong

Trans rights are human rights, period.
As extreme MAGA Republicans continue trying to criminalize the ability of people to just live their own lives, I will never stop fighting to defend the rights of those just attempting to be their true, authentic selves.
And…here we are.
Last year when we were all so mad that WB decided to kill it’s writer’s workshop program, they were like “Relax we’re just making it a diversity program and putting Karen Horne in charge! This was always our plan!”
Anyway they eliminated her position.

Absolutely awful. Infuriating and heartbreaking.
"On Friday, June 2, 2023, Ajike "Aj" Owens, a devoted and loving mother of four, was tragically and unjustifiably murdered in an attempt to protect her children from racism and violence."
