REALITY SHOCK: A beginner's guide to UFOs, Aliens and Disclosure Do you find the mass release of UFO files confusing? Have you noticed that the federal government seems to be on the fence about whether aliens are regularly flying around in the skies above the Earth? Are you curious why leaders in Congress keep expressing concerns that private military contractors may be hiding alien craft? After spending the last decade at POLITICO — reporting on the rise of Donald Trump, Hunter Biden's business dealings, and tech policy — I spent much of the past year digging into the UFO flap. The first result is Reality Shock, a deep-dive overview of a mystery that is enthralling growing cohorts across government, academia, business and culture. Below you can find a link to the full piece, where you can also subscribe to follow the investigation as it develops. But first, four initial takeaways: 1. The study of UFOs, and concern about them, have long been more serious than you’d think: Scientists, intelligence analysts and senior military figures in the U.S. and allied nations have repeatedly concluded that the highest-quality UFO reports stem from real objects whose behavior defies apparent explanation. Now, a new generation of UFO studies is starting to enter peer-reviewed academic journals. 2. While a case can be made for presuming that some UFOs really do represent one or more exotic phenomena, the available evidence that humans are retrieving and reverse-engineering alien craft is much weaker: These extraordinary claims, made before Congress, have not been matched with equally extraordinary evidence. At the same time, the serious concerns demonstrated by people with access to classified information about these claims signal a need for additional transparency and investigation. 3. The ongoing controversy presents a threat to the already-weakened legitimacy of many existing institutions: The risks are twofold: One is the excessive mobilization of government, scientific, and philanthropic resources to explore claims that turn out to be nonsense. The other is that alternative institutions discover, publicize and exploit the existence of non-human intelligence or other breakthroughs related to UFO anomalies while incumbents miss the boat. 4. The current UFO flap need not lead to proof of alien life to produce a major technological shock – or even a shock in our understanding of reality: All of this clamor about UFOs could end up being about something other than non-human intelligence. Persistent anomalies have often led to scientific paradigm shifts. And some longtime observers of UFO anomalies speculate that militaries have already exploited secret scientific breakthroughs to develop mind-bending technologies. Possible breakthroughs include new understandings of gravity or new aircraft propulsion systems far outside of known human capabilities. To understand why these possibilities are being discussed, read on...

SCOOP: While Bo Hines was leading the White House’s push to pass the Genius Act, Tether—the company with the most at stake in the bill—was steering millions of dollars to a company he co-owned. I put Jay's allegation to Tim Phillips. He said: 'Chris, that is not true. There is no “legacy program” to exploit NEI technology. Jay is promoting his book. No one controlled what Sean or I provided to Congress. We had unincombered access to any program at all classification level. There is no way our government could have hid the program Jay discussed for over 70 years.'
Notice Kirkpatrick didnt deny anything Stratton said......

NEW: Two of the senior-most U.S. military intelligence officials tasked with investigating UFOs in recent years are accusing each other of grievous wrongdoing. Sean Kirkpatrick, former head of AARO, tells PARADIGM that he caught Jay Stratton, former head of the UAP Task Force, violating an unspecified "national security law." Kirkpatrick said that he presented Congress with information about the alleged law-breaking. Kirkpatrick made the allegation in response to a claim in Stratton's new book. Stratton, also a former senior military intel official, claims in the book that lawmakers have evidence that Kirkpatrick is "compromised and controlled" by people involved in a purported secret program to reverse-engineer alien technology. Stratton's rep did not immediately respond to questions. Kirkpatrick did not respond to follow-up questions. A person who investigated UFOs for the Senate and dealt with both men said they were not aware of evidence for either man's accusation about the other. Link below to more reporting on the claims in Stratton's new book about his time as the Pentagon's top UFO investigator.

Double-whammy sky-watching opportunity from the DC area Tuesday morning! 🪼 Space jellyfish: A Falcon 9 rocket launch at 6:33 a.m. from Cape Canaveral, Fla., could produce a "space jellyfish" in the southern and southeastern sky a few minutes later. This phenomenon occurs when a rocket's exhaust plume is illuminated by sunlight high in the atmosphere while the sky below is still dark, creating a glowing, jellyfish-shaped cloud. 🛰️ ISS fly over: The International Space Station is on track to be visible from the DC region for several minutes starting around 6:35 a.m., moving across the sky from the south-southwest to the east-northeast. These two events are connected! The Falcon 9 rocket is carrying supplies to the ISS. Skies should be mostly clear Tuesday morning, so wake up early and enjoy! The lenient sentence in this case is outrageous.
A Berkeley chemical engineer who suffered years of unexplained illness discovered through a spy camera from Amazon that her coworker, David Xu, was poisoning her food and water with cadmium, a toxic heavy metal for nearly 18 months between 2017 and 2019. The victim experienced significant health problems and at times required emergency care at a hospital. Newly released video shows Xu appearing to put a substance in her water bottle in 2019. Xu was arrested that year and charged with attempted murder and two counts of poisoning, offenses that could have sent him to prison for life. But under a plea deal, the attempted murder charge and one poisoning count were dropped. Xu pleaded no contest to one felony poisoning charge and received two years of probation, with credit for one day served. He completed probation in March and is now seeking to have his felony conviction dismissed.

I've noted that inconsistency in today's edition of Signs of Life paradigm.news/p/the-science-… I'd also note that it's not implausible that a person in their eighties might have just forgotten about something from 40 years ago when first asked about it ... and then remembered it later Of course, I remain interested in any further evidence that comes to light about this, no matter which way it points
Brent's never changed or wavered in his story. Herrington, in contrast, told you one thing (Brent never drove his cars across country) and told Jesse something else (Brent did drive his cars). Here is Brent's response to Herrington, recorded last night. youtu.be/7B-0E8sbtNA?si=SRWJ…

NEWS: XPRIZE Chairman @PeterDiamandis is actively exploring the creation of a new XPRIZE for providing evidence of alien visitation. Harvard astronomer @ProfAviLoeb tells me that the criteria under discussion would require a winner to demonstrate the existence of technology created by a non-human intelligence. Loeb said he's identified a potential funder for the prize, but declined to name the person "until it's finalized." The XPRIZE Foundation has become a major agenda-setter in the world of science. An XPRIZE about an alien presence in Earth's proximity would be a major milestone in the transformation of a once-fringe topic into a prestigious subject of scientific inquiry. The potential prize was a focus of a UFO-centric salon that Diamandis hosted in Santa Monica this past weekend. Co-host Lyn Lear, widow of Norman Lears, tells me that Diamandis and his foundation are "looking into" the creation of such a prize. Links below to the full story and to subscribe to PARADIGM.
