Thank you for having me!
Early childhood spans education, healthcare, and human services. In this first legislative session, moderator Laura Novey (@mwconsulting) and panelists Assemblymember Sarah Clark (@sarahhartclark), Representative Mike Clines (@mike_clines), and Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom (@ltgovdahlstrom) explore how Children's Cabinets, Councils, and Caucuses break down agency silos. #ECLS26

Proud to announce that my bill with @sarahhartclark, the Student Lifeline Act, became law today. College students in NYS will have the 988 crisis number on their students IDs– a direct connection to compassionate, lifesaving care that helps address our youth mental health crisis.

Criticizing the legislature and the Governor is pointless when we all know the responsibility for any harm that may come will be directly attributable to Trump and his Republican enablers who won't fight for the people they represent.

Still no @PartnerwithPPL contract. Providers, legislators, and the public are in the dark — @nysdoh, what’s the holdup, and what are you hiding?
This week I had the privilege to welcome to the Assembly Chamber 4th graders from @RSDeaf These students got to see what it is like around the Capitol during our busy budget votes and had the opportunity to ask questions about the legislative process. Future leaders in the house!
I absolutely agree. With all the issues regarding the PPL transition and the amount of public dollars involved in this contract, we deserve to see the details. Thank you Chair @AmyPaulin for leading here!
Replying to @HealthNYGov
@HealthNYGov @NYSDOHMEDICAID...why can’t we all see the final contract with @PartnerwithPPL? It is public money.
Democracy is a verb.
We should be inspired by the dedication of those standing up for our values throughout the country, from Senator Booker to the voters of Wisconsin.
Whether we stand in Rochester or Albany or Washington, we must stand up and stand together.

Our community is home to thousands of Ukrainian Americans. Many families reside in Irondequoit. The history here runs deep including a longtime association with the Sister City of Poltava. We stand with our community and we stand with Ukraine. 🇺🇸🇺🇦
We can build on successful programs like @bridgeprojectny to pull families out of poverty and change the trajectory of a child’s life. @NYSenatorRamos says it best, let’s win with money for moms!
So great to see Daniela Gutierrez, one of our Baby Bucks champions from the @bridgeprojectny at the State of the State to celebrate the Governor’s support for guaranteed income during pregnancy. 💞
This is the year we win money for moms!
I am honored and excited to take on this new leadership position as Chair of our Majority Conference. I look forward to working with my colleagues as we roll ups our sleeves and get to work this legislative session. Thank you Speaker @CarlHeastie for this opportunity to lead.

Gov. @KathyHochul vetoed a bill expanding child care aid to low-income families, saying it includes costs not accounted for in the fiscal plan.
We talked w/Assemblymember @sarahhartclark about this effort, which represents a tiny part of the budget.

.@GovKathyHochul: you have the opportunity TODAY to make NY more affordable for low income families. Please sign @jessicaramosqns & @sarahhartclark’s bill to end NY’s deeply inequitable (& nonsensical) rule barring families from child care assistance because they EARN TOO LITTLE!
Families are struggling to afford everyday items- let’s not make childcare assistance harder to access for our lowest wage earners. Sign our bill!
