Often-after a period of instability, voters look to return to the center. IMO 2028 will be such a time and a centrist Republican would be best suited to retain the gains from 2024 and the government.

NZ election: same dynamic as everywhere cost of living. But due to idiocy of proportional representation govt. got slightly less popular vote & since they won more seats they got a House "overhang" & House has to increase in members & b4 special votes counted look likely to win

Should something happen to Chuck Grassley, who is 93, in the next two years, Iowa’s New Democrat governor will be able to nominate his replacement. It takes an incredible amount of arrogance and selfishness to not help your state avoid that fate by RESIGNING. Indeed, it’s this exact arrogance that voters rejected on Tuesday when they ousted multiple Republican incumbents who took their support and their seats for granted. The message from Tuesday is clear: if these Rs do not agree to step aside, the voters will make sure you no longer have the choice. RESIGN, @ChuckGrassley.
