When a journovermin contacts you and asks for you to comment on something you are involved in, and you decline to comment, they will always write their article in such a way that declining to talk to them implies that you are guilty of whatever lie they are spreading about you.
They don't stop to consider that no decent American would EVER provide a comment to a journovermin because it is 100% certain that the comment will be misquoted, partially quoted, or quoted in a deceptive manner and context.

🚨 American taxpayers are being robbed blind by Food Stamps fraudsters. Businesses in Seattle are cashing out EBT cards
Nick Shirley is able to walk into a Seattle Seafood Market and pay $120 for 1 can of spam with an EBT card
Here’s how the scam works
- Anyone with an EBT card comes in and buys an item
- The store adjusts the price of that item to the amount of money that’s on the person’s EBT card
- The store gives the person 50 cents on the dollar for the balance on the EBT card
Meaning is you have $120 on your EBT card, you’re able to exchange it for $60 cash and the store pockets the rest of the money for doing the transaction
This is a scam that is happening nationwide. There have even been so many mainstream media stories where this has been highlighted as a common scam
This is OUR tax money being stolen

@ABC News continues to lie, this time privately to their friends in the press. This was a coordinated influence operation planted by our competition, not "premature publication".
7:01 AM October 7th, story goes live. Within minutes, dozens of high-profile commentators, politicians, and news outlets are sharing it with tens of millions of followers. We immediately contact ABC and demand they correct their false claims - after multiple rounds of refusal, they finally make a single one-word grammar edit. The editors stand by the reporting and insist the false claims are true.
Finally, eight hours after I was forced to call them out publicly, they delete everything. The editors hide all the comments, the author deletes his X account, and the story is completely wiped from their website without any explanation, directly violating SPJ ethics standards and ABC's own internal rules.
ABC is currently running a coverup operation, ignoring all of our requests for correction/retraction while telling their buddies to spread the word that this was nothing more than a CMS publication timeline error.
