Never forget.
These people think of you as an enemy combatant.
“Bipartisanship” and “reaching across the aisle” is dead—the people on the other side desire to see you in prison.

Grateful for President Trump’s unparalleled leadership to build this monumental arch to complete this long overdue congressionally authorized project honoring our nation and its noble veterans.
It’s disgraceful that policymakers have let this empty traffic circle be the entrance to one of America's most hallowed places, Arlington National Cemetery.
As NCPC Chairman, I am looking forward to the vote at our November 5th meeting to approve this wonderful project.

Galveston TX, Houma LA, Brownsville TX, and now Sparrows Point MD. Four new or reopened shipyards in America. President Trump is proving it can be done. The momentum continues.
.@POTUS announces construction of the largest new shipyard in the United States since WWII at Sparrows Point in Maryland — with @anduriltech's $3.7B investment alongside the Navy's $2.9B contribution.

VENTURE DEFENSE: The Trump administration is tapping defense tech giant Anduril to build a 2-million-square-foot shipyard outside Baltimore in a $6.6 billion effort to fix one of the Pentagon's most stubborn industrial problems — the U.S. can't build submarines fast enough.
Anduril will invest $3.7 billion of its own capital to construct the facility at Sparrows Point, with the Navy spending up to $2.9 billion purchasing whatever the company successfully produces. The goal: break a production bottleneck that has left shipyards delivering roughly 1.3 Virginia-class attack submarines per year, well short of the Navy's target of two.
The facility is expected to add roughly 9 million labor hours annually — a 15% increase in submarine production capacity — and create more than 14,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Thank you @POTUS and @RussVought47 at @WHOMB for holding Washington accountable and cutting wasteful spending.
Taxpayer dollars should be spent on putting AMERICANS FIRST not wasted on far-left political passion projects.

The bureaucrats don’t get a say on this. The idea that the President must fund illegal immigrants and race-based policies at all - much less every penny - is facially absurd. Congress appropriates, yes. President executes.
Federal watchdog says Trump’s $810M funding cancellation is unconstitutional dlvr.it/TVhtHy
Not a surprise. GAO has become hyper partisan and Congress recently attempted to cut their spending because of it. GAO changed its long-time opinion on this very issue from the 1970s when they specifically noted the tool was available to the president. They make their legal assessments based on whether Democrats are in the White House.
Federal watchdog says Trump’s $810M funding cancellation is unconstitutional dlvr.it/TVhtHy
Exhibit A in Washington's brokenness. A self-proclaimed fan of limited government and budget analyst chooses to order his day around the method of cutting $1 billion in spending, without any constitutional understanding or historical knowledge of how our country operated for the first 200 years of its existence.
President Trump announced the cancellation of nearly $1 billion in spending. The items in question are wasteful and inappropriate activities for the federal government to engage in. However, the means Trump used (pocket rescissions) are a big problem. 🧵

“I’m fine with it,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) says about President Trump’s move to unilaterally cancel nearly $1 billion in congressionally approved funds, which Senate Appropriations Chair Susan Collins’ argued are “illegal actions.”
“I love Susan like a taco, but she’s wrong,” Kennedy tells @margbrennan, arguing the administration is cutting “spending porn.” But he adds that he would oppose similar cuts to NIH grants.

Restoring the president’s Constitutionally required control over his own executive branch, instead of leaving it to unelected bureaucratic “experts”, is not silly. It’s something conservatives have argued for forever but never, until now, done anything about. See comment we submitted on Vought’s proposed rule change introducing oversight more generally over the grantmaking process here, where we explain why it’s long overdue. independentwomen.com/2026/07…

🧵CONGRESS decided that these funds would lapse on September 30.
CONGRESS decided to grant itself an expedited procedure to consider rescinding funds and told the President to hold the funds while Congress decides whether to rescind.
CONGRESS decided not to limit the time period in which the President can send a rescission.
CONGRESS was told by GAO in 1975 that pocket rescissions are permitted and to amend the text to prevent pocket rescissions.
CONGRESS has amended the ICA several times but has let this provision allowing pocket rescissions to stay in place.
We are just using the system CONGRESS established and never changed despite being told by your own GAO to change it.
We will continue to use the tools CONGRESS provided to save taxpayer dollars from going to (just a few examples):
$567 million for social services for illegal aliens
$15 million in welfare for illegal aliens
$9 million to bail out foreign country climate change policies
$56 million for NGO DEI and race discrimination
A pocket rescission is an illegal line item veto.
It is the president saying that he and he alone will convert a bipartisan spending bill (that has been signed into law) into a partisan spending bill.
He is canceling the lines of spending he doesn't like.
This violates the core separation of powers embedded in our constitution in which it is the Congress, not the president, who decides what programs are designed and at what level they are funded.
Republican colleagues said they would never let this happen. Well here it is.
They should ask themselves: "How would I like to have a Democratic president canceling out the Republican flavored programs he or she doesn't like in a bipartisan spending bill that has been signed into law?"
If they have any integrity or any spine, they will join us in ending this practice.
