Wow! I launched some Trump Accounts for my kids. I got a notice that I didn't expect. Thank you @MichaelDell and @SusanDell for the unsolicited and unexpected contribution to my son's account.

The @AcquiredFM podcast on Lockheed Martin is crazy inspirational. Amazing engineering pace and accomplishments in that episode that anyone aspiring to build hardware should listen to. @elonmusk and @Gwynne_Shotwell does early Skunkworks inspire or serve as a benchmark for you

We Won! Today @MagDriveTech took first place in the lightning pitch competition at the Houston Energy Climate Tech Summit. Only ninety seconds to make the case for MagDrive, in front of the people who run and invest in the world's energy infrastructure! Here is what we told them: The energy industry is changing. Until now, every valve have packing seals that wear out and leak. More than 60% of fugitive emissions come from valve stems. MagDrive builds Magnetically Actuated Valves (MAV) that put the stem inside a solid-wall chamber. Magnets on the outside of the wall turn magnets on the inside. Valves can't leak if there is no leak path to the outside world. We've proven the tech at NASA, in refinery field trials, and through ISO and API certifications, all with zero measurable emissions. MagDrive licenses our technology to the world's best valve makers. If you build valves or buy them, let's talk. Valves "Made with MagDrive" are the future of leak-free flow control. A big THANK YOU to our friends at @GreentownLabs , @EnergyVentures, and the judges for organizing today's event. Thank you to our team who made this possible: Stephen Sanford, David Yakos, Bronson Pate & Pete Strom #ClimateTech #MethaneEmissions #OilAndGas #Houston #MagDrive

The EPA rule taking effect yesterday eased flare and vent-gas monitoring. What it left alone: fugitive emissions from valves and connectors. A valve stem leak doesn't read the Federal Register. You can defer a deadline. You can't defer the leak path. epa.gov/controlling-air-poll…

Helpful tool for improvement. It’s just physics thinking in the limit.
Everyone can use @elonmusk's "Magic Wand Number" and "Idiot Index" They're universal ideas, helpful in any industry.

In a typical refinery, ~80% of valve leaks are at the stem seal. 30 years iterating on packing with graphite, live-loaded, API 622 low-E, and the problem remains. What does valve design look like when "tighter packing" isn't the answer?valvemagazine.com/articles/h…

The grizzlies are out this year in Montana. We saw two near Cooke City this weekend.

PICK UP THE PHONE AND MAKE A CALL (Yes, I'm yelling) Connecting for a few minutes to provide value is a super power.

What's the big deal with "small" leaks? Did you know that current EPA regulations allow valves to leak up to 499 ppm and still be in compliance? If every valve leaks, the aggregate impact on health and safety, and GHG emissions is HUGE. azocleantech.com/article.asp…

I promised my youngest son that we'd travel to watch a @SpaceX launch this year. Is May 12th the day? Hey kid, do you want to skip school and fly to Texas to watch history in the making??

This tool has been great but @fyxerofficial kind of missed this one. Nobody wants a call at 12 am! 😂
