Today we join with writers and theatre artists across the world to mark the passing of Tom Stoppard, a playwright whose work probed the deepest human mysteries of truth, time, mortality and frailty while dazzling with wit, laughter and the buoyancy of the human spirit.
In 2006, the world premiere of ROCK ’N’ ROLL opened at the Royal Court as part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations. From that legendary opening night in Sloane Square, the play headed into the West End and then to Broadway to great critical acclaim. Like most of his work, it continues to be performed to audiences all around the globe.
