Last week I talked to four creators doing over $1m a year in ad revenue, almost entirely from AI companies. All had fewer than 100k followers. Most of the ads are on Instagram. On My First Million, I shared what else I found: three others doing over $10m a year, with just a part-time assistant or a few freelancers. With AI getting all this funding, they have to spend the money somewhere for marketing. I don't know if this is going to last, but there's definitely a little trader gold rush going on right now. I think it's going to last at least for a handful more years. I've had a ton reach out to do ads with me on Twitter. Basically, I talk about something and get paid to do it and label it as an ad. I probably not going to do it on Twitter, but I would consider it for LinkedIn or Instagram if I love the product.

“Henchmen for Hire” would crush it as a business right now. Literally just be able to hire people to be a “pair of hands” in person. You get actually grunts for grunt work, on-site, for one off projects and events.

NINTENDO has won the console wars… again… The insistence on “next level graphics” is what priced gamers out of the console market… That should have always been the real of PC gaming and everyone should have been fine with where graphics topped off in 2018-2020. There was never a need for more than that and now here we are… It’s going to be unaffordable for anyone below median income.
Xbox is reportedly planning for their next console to release in late 2028. Microsoft is internally projecting that the console could cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800, unless they decide to subsidize the cost. (Source: fortune.com/2026/10/20/the-n…)

The Ferrari CEO praised @Tesla's new Roadster unveil today: "It certainly shows that in the automotive world there's still a lot to be done. We have to keep dreaming. As a European, thank you for showing us how that, even in an old world, you can still innovate and dare." He gave the Roadster launch 10 out of 10 for technology and 10 out of 10 for presentation.

My cousin, who’s a photographer, just asked me to stop liking her posts on Instagram because I share a lot of AI-generated content on my account. She doesn’t want people to associate her work with AI, not even through my likes. I respect her views on AI, but I never imagined that simply supporting a family member’s photography could become a problem. I won’t lie, that hurt a little. 🥲

Daily posting works for B2B because the buyer searches when they have the problem, not when you published. Consistency feeds the search trail.

A season of hustle instead of a lifetime of hardship… You must choose.
People are wrong about "hustle culture." You need to hustle at the beginning of building almost anything that isn’t mediocre…. You just don’t need to “live there” for life.

As a content creator do you know the difference between ASSISTIVE AI and Generative AI? Or for you is all AI bad? And if so at what point do you reconciling benefiting from the AI backend of your content platforms as a Monetized Creator? And are you willing to drop Anti-AI sentiment to avoid the hypocrisy in NOT refusing to monetize while benefiting from it?

The algorithm is meant to serve the audience. If you have the capacity and you do B2B content, education content or lifestyle content… As long as you are not posting just to post and it’s a of decent quality, then quality over quantity doesn’t apply to you. It’s for ENTERTAINMENT content in my opinion almost exclusively. Consumer product content in lifestyle benefits from nearly daily content if your goal isn’t to be a big and famous YouTuber but instead to have a decent sized audience and go full-time. The same for education content and B2B content as long as it’s sustainable for you. The algorithm is meant to serve the audience every single day… Having RECENCY bias in your favor is ideal, and it works… As long as the packaging is still good and the experience/quality is still good. If you’re not trying to be famous, you don’t need to “break the internet” go viral… Having daily monetized content, top of funnel content, and discovery content that grows your audience, is completely legitimate as a strategy. If you want to go the quality over quantity route that’s fine… But it usually just means you have a goal outside of making this a business or career that matters to you… You can call it passion if you want… But if we’re being honest it’s probably just that for whatever reason you value attention more than money… and it’s okay to just own that…
I tell business owners to post on social media every day. The algorithm is built to find an audience. Some people look at me like I’m asking them to launch a rocket every day. It’s no different to telling a cafe owner to open their doors and put a sign out the front every day. It takes a few minutes. Honestly if you don’t have it in you to post about your business daily, maybe consider a government job.

One of the smartest things you can do for your content is to build a custom asset library of b-roll that makes to use in more than one video, filmed from more than one angle. Set aside a weekend a month for this and in within a few months you’ll have a deep library of hundreds of shots. If you do it every other weekend you will have nearly unlimited assets to work with.

If you can build your business to $1M+ here’s some advice: Don’t scale. Make $1M+ per year for the next 10-15 years, work less, save a lot, invest like hell, and either retire or work on a profitable passion project for the rest of your life.
