We went to the Queer Literary Hoedown at the Carnegie Center yesterday. Excellent writers read. Tyler Childers new music video created by @silasdhouse, Jason Howard and others played. It was great. We have us a good poet laureate in KY. A good governor, too.

I reckon most of us are writing for the same audience as JD Vance, but somehow some voices get amplified more than others. Or maybe we are not saying the things the amplifiers care to pick up. Thx to @MargaretRenkl for her amplifying today.
