They say ‘money won’t solve all your problems’
Name one problem you have now that money won’t solve
It can solve literally every one of your problems right now
Don’t believe me? Ask yourself this:
Would one million right now make this problem harder or easier?
Thanks to UK prices the middle class has stopped buying anything
They have a new spending habit:
It’s called ‘don’t spend anything’
Want a new car? Clean the old one
Want a new house? Tidy the old one
They have a new going out habit
It’s called ‘Staying in’
The middle class didn’t get smarter with money, they have just become the new working class & can’t afford anything anymore
£100,000 is the new £20,000
In 1980, If your parents earned £20,000, you’d need to earn £100,000 now to afford the same lifestyle, not even a better one. £100 only buys 18.6% of what it could buy back in 1980
Another reason the U.K. is done
Most people waste £50k thinking they are ‘investing’ it.
There’s two roads to go down when investing £50k.
Road A: The Broke Way.
Or
Road B: The Rich Way.
Road A. The Broke Way:
Save £50k in a ‘high interest’ savings account.
Less than 4% interest.
Inflation eats away at your savings.
More than 4% inflation.
You ‘saved money’ like they told you to.
And in 15 years, you have half.
Road B. The Rich Way:
Invest £50k into a property worth £250k.
Earn on your money AND the bank’s money.
Tenant pays your mortgage.
Tenant pays you £3,000 a year in net income.
Inflation helps pay your mortgage off.
Inflation pushes your rent up.
Inflation pushes the price of your property up.
In 15 years, you have a £500k property.
You’ve made £250k in growth.
And £100k in rent.
Same £50k.
Different result.
Savers are losers.
Investors are winners.
If you want to build £100k in savings/liquid in 2026, it’s easier than you think
1. Earn an extra £100 per day for 1,000 days
2. Earn an extra £10,000 per year for 10 years.
3. Save £100 per day for 1,000 days.
5. Save £10,000 per year for 10 years.
Simplicity & consistency over time is the key to building wealth for 2026/27
Banks charged over 12 billion in overdraft fees in 2025
Which means the banks took 12 billion from people who had no money
This is how the banking system works, do you understand?
Your bank will never tell you this
But a 30 year mortgage takes:
23 years with one extra overpayment a year
16 years with two extra payments/year
10 years with three extra payments/year
But warning: use the term ‘capital overpayment’ so they don’t use your overpayment to cover interest & fees too
You can literally shave two thirds off your mortgage with smart money moves
One of the biggest failures of the U.K. is the empty high streets & dying small businesses
Small businesses are over 55% of the TOTAL economy, yet we give huge multi-national companies benefits, reliefs & monopoly, but we don’t properly support our own, local small businesses
They get HIT with high business rates, high corp tax, high VAT, high national insurance, all before the founders can draw a penny of profit themselves
So I urge you to support small businesses as much as you can
Pay cash, buy small/local, and share positive experience on your social media
if every adult, everyone one of us in the U.K. just spent £20 a week in local shops & small businesses, instead of massive online global corps not paying much U.K. tax, that would generate, get this:
£54 billion a year!
All redirecting back into our local towns & communities, small businesses & U.K. families
Employment would rise. High streets would fill. The mood and energy of the place would lift
Surely we can all make this small pledge, & do what the U.K. government are not & support our own
Cash. Local. Small. British. Do you agree?
How to build a 6-figure side business in the easiest way possible
1. Pick one skill you already use at work
2. Start age irrelevant
3. Offer it directly to small business owners on LinkedIn
4. Charge £50/hr and work 10 hours a week
5. You’ll add £26,000+ a year to your income
You don’t need a website & it takes 1 hour a day
If you want to go quicker, productise your service
Saving money in a bank account makes you poorer
Not only does standard interest fail to keep up with real inflation
But banks use your deposits to lend out at 5x the rate they pay you
Making your cash lose purchasing power every single year
They reward passive savers with real losses & profit off your loyalty
Not only do higher incomes push you into higher tax brackets
But every pay rise naturally triggers lifestyle inflation
Making it harder to build actual wealth despite earning 6 figures
They keep you on the treadmill & make spending look like success
Do you understand?
Why you get penalised for paying off your mortgage
Not only do you get early interest penalties for paying your mortgage off ‘early’
But when you pay off your mortgage your credit rating can drop significantly
Making is harder to borrow more money despite paying back money
They penalise good money management & want you in debt for life
Andy Burnham,
Since labour came to power there are roughly 280,000 more people unemployed
1.1 million more people on welfare without work requirements
10,000 fewer young people not in education, employment, or training
62,000 more people working in the public sector and 65,000 more small boat arrivals
Could you do something about this?
£8 for Nescafé Gold Blend coffee
£5.25 for shortbread biscuits
£5 for a bar of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk
£18.25 for just three items of food
For a f*cking coffee & biscuit selection
Working class people can’t afford this & the U.K. is way out of control
Minimum wage was £5.00 in 2005, & a first class stamp was 32p
20 years on & minimum wage is £12.21 & a 1st class stamp is £1.70!
So one hour of work got you 15 first class stamps
But now one hour of work will only get you 7 1st class stamps
That’s a 531% rise in stamps but only 142% rise in pay
If wages had kept up with the price of stamps, the minimum wage would be £26.55 an hour
This is NOT just inflation, this is worse
This is about much more than stamps. Food, electricity, travel are all similar
The hard working people are struggling to survive because costs are soaring far quicker than wages
Something needs to change, but will it?
I'm sorry £22,440 for a Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua ticket is daylight robbery
The £2,040 booking fee alone is an utter scam
That’s almost a deposit for a small house
Things are just so expensive (& lower quality) right now in the UK & this tops it
Add travel, drinks, food, you're gonna need £25k just to watch two blokes hug in a ring for 12 rounds
Oh, but at least you get free delivery on the tickets
I love Tyson & AJ, but the only way prices of anything get better in the UK is if this nonsense stops
This takes inflation to a whole new level
It feels more like greed-flation of companies using inflation as the excuse/reason
A basic ringside ticket used to cost a fraction of this & now they’re asking for house-deposit money
You could buy a brand new car for this, I mean is it me & am I grumpy or is this just ridiculous?
