Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

Today the Met Office says 2025 was the warmest year in the UK since 1884 when records began. Yet Ed Miliband is dismissed as a crazed zealot because he acts to change this. Are we all mad? Check out the report yourself. State of the UK Climate in 2025. rmets.onlinelibrary.wiley.co…

Drawing on research showing that creativity and imagination scores have been declining for decades, author @robintransition argues that our collective inability to vividly picture a better future may be the deepest barrier to building one.

So many stupid people who have believed garbage politicians and journalists’ denial of the threat of climate change will have to face they bear some responsibility for the suffering we and our kids are about to face

The fact there has not been a revolution at this point is unbelievable. The oil industry made a decision to do this and politicians and media allowed them to do it.

In this episode, I welcome @robintransition, co-founder of the Transition Network and author of “How to Fall in Love with the Future,” for an exploration of what tips people over the edge and into action to build more livable futures, and what role imagination plays in cultural motivation and agency.
Rob explains the neuroscience behind envisioning the future, explaining the link between memory and imagination, and how chronic stress and cortisol can shrink our capacity to picture the future.

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
