Today is the day! Be sure to head to the polls and vote!
It’s an honor to serve Shelby County in Nashville and I’d appreciate your vote once again!

Mackenzie and I are saddened by the passing of Bill Watkins, co-founder of Watkins Uiberall, former Shelby County GOP Chairman, and a tireless servant to our community. Bill was a good man and a friend to many. We are praying for Jeanette, Renee, Trey, and the entire Watkins family.
Mackenzie and I just voted early! 🇺🇸
Safe streets aren't a partisan issue. And as your representative in Nashville, I’ve worked hard to keep Memphis safe
I'd be honored to earn your vote. Early voting runs through Oct. 29 and Election Day is Nov. 3!
I am proud to have helped get Memphis $50 million for public safety infrastructure in our city. It takes serious resources to clean up our streets, and I am glad to see our law enforcement getting the funding they need and deserve.
Corruption is destroying Memphis from the inside, and I am working hard to root it out. From new laws holding soft-on-crime District Attorneys accountable, to the pending state takeover of Memphis-Shelby County Schools, the legislature is working hard to get Memphis back on the right track.
Get out and vote today! Early voting is open today through October 29. Beat the Election Day lines on November 3 and cast your ballot now. I hope you will consider voting for me to represent you in HD-97.
Honor, courage, and commitment are more than words to our sailors. They are a way of life. Thank you to the men and women of the U.S. Navy for answering the call. Happy 251st birthday.
Behind every grocery store shelf is a farmer who took a risk, trusted the weather, and kept going. Today we honor their grit and the way they strengthen our economy and our communities.
It's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to reach out. Today is World Mental Health Day. If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988.
We delivered $21 million to the Tennessee Highway Patrol to fund dozens of new state troopers. That means safer highways, safer communities, and a safer Memphis.
Everyone deserves to feel safe at home. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we remember our commitment to supporting victims and holding abusers accountable.
ICYMI - the felony offense of assaulting a first responder has been expanded to include all first responders (not only police, but fire fighters, EMTs, etc.). Our first responders have played such an important role in making Memphis safer, and we need to stand up for the people standing up for us.
Thank you to the pediatricians, nurses, school staff, and caregivers who look after our youngest neighbors. Your work shapes the future. Happy National Child Health Day!

While you sleep, 150 planes land at Frederick W. Smith International Airport to deliver millions of FedEx packages to the FedEx Memphis World Hub 📦 ✈️
Our air traffic controllers land a plane every 90 seconds — an incredible dance that gets your packages to you FAST.
But cargo demand is set to jump 10% over the next decade - and with more passenger flights, eVTOLs, and drones… our skies are only getting busier
We HAVE to finish modernizing air traffic control. Thank you @FedEx for backing the Modern Skies Act — let's get it DONE and keep America's supply chain moving‼️
It’s a tragedy that roughly 50% of Memphis’s public university students and up to 75% of our community college students never finish their degree. That’s why we delivered $4.5 million to tnAchieves, a non-profit that works to help students finish their degrees. Education is just as important as safety when it comes to making Memphis a better, more affordable, and more prosperous city to live and raise a family.
To every survivor, fighter, and family member touched by breast cancer, we see your strength this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That's why I proudly voted "yes" on last session's biomarker bill, legislation designed to help us catch this disease earlier and save more lives.
Even in difficult times like these, Tennessee remains one of the most affordable states in the country. We are always working hard to bring costs down and deliver better results for Tennesseans by cutting taxes, spending better, and creating a better business environment for everyone.
Your paycheck goes further in Tennessee. The Volunteer State ranks among the top 10 most affordable states in the nation and we're committed to keeping it that way. With ZERO state income tax and a #1 ranking as the best state to save money, we're making sure Tennessee families keep more of what they earn. Common-sense conservative leadership works.

From the battlefield to the community hall, VFW members carry the torch of service long after their uniform comes off. Thank you to every Veteran of Foreign Wars who continues to serve our communities today.
Tennessee is leading the way in quality of life, cost of doing business, and business-friendly environments across the nation. The results speak for themselves: conservative policies WORK. Proud to represent Memphis as we work to make Tennessee safe and affordable.
Tennessee workers, entrepreneurs, and job creators make Tennessee the best state in the nation to live, work, and build a future. Low taxes. Smart regulation. A skilled workforce. That's how you build an economy that works for everyone.
