Drax's operations are KILLING PEOPLE & we're all being forced to fund it via our bills. Frontline community members travelled 1000s of miles to speak to those responsible, rather than face the truth, Drax execs ran away & refused to let them speak. #AxeDrax #DraxKills

🚨BREAKING: Alongside @axe_drax we occupied Enviva’s offices to expose the truth — 🔹 Enviva feeds Drax 🔹 Together they burn forests & poison communities 🔹 Enviva's poisonous plants are located in low-income, majority Black areas. This is environmental racism. #AxeDrax

The dam provides essential water and energy to the entire region, and there are concerns it could break, leading to widespread floods which would be catastrophic for the environment and life across.

We join the international call to end Turkish occupation of North and East Syria, end the attacks on the dam and protect democratic autonomy in Rojava.

Our energy project could be the most expensive in the world! Now it's up to the government to decide if every UK household should pay £1562 for BECCS technology. We haven't got it working yet, but it will be fine!

Yorkshire Post ties to controversial Drax power plant draw accusations of media ‘greenwashing’

What happens to the credibility of a local paper when it takes sponsorship and advertising money from a “renewable” power plant whose green credentials have been widely questioned?
