I just wish somebody would post a breakdown of how the Axios npm attack happened. That’s really missing on my TL.
#ProjectHailMary was disappointing as it does not capture at all what made the book great. The whole thinking/discovery process is left out bc it doesn’t translate well to screen. Martian was easier to turn into film bc variety of concrete problems to solve. PMH is overhyped.
I have been developing mobile apps since 2012, and after going full-stack for several years I can now confidently say that Mob Dev managed to maintain the title for “worst developer experience” the entire time.
How long until someone is going to make an entire desktop environment that runs inside the terminal, including draggable windows and we’re going to celebrate the (re)invention of remote desktops? Place your bets !

I use a low-end full HD (1080p) display to check whether our web UI looks good.
The reality is that 99% of our users don’t have 5K 10 bit IPS with ++ resolution and contrast. Even the Macbook displays are head and shoulders above what’s out in the field.
Late to the party, but why is Diablo 3 so easy? Playing on Hard (cos I can’t pick anything higher yet) and was not in danger of dying even once. What is this, an out of season April fools joke?

Why do PDFs still exist?
It’s from the “paper era”. Even a html with a hash to check whether it has been tampered with would be so much more powerful.
Think of all the startups built around extracting data from pdf because it’s such a crap format.
