Red Bull is putting on one of its coolest events ever today. Max Verstappen will attempt to beat 100 other drivers in a go-kart race around Silverstone. The rules are simple: Max has to start dead last (101st), and then he has 30 laps to overtake every other driver. Stan Kroenke's $4 billion Angels purchase makes much more sense when you look at the team's lease. Anaheim owns the stadium and 153 acres around it, but the team currently pays no rent, and because the revenue-sharing minimums are so high, the city has made only about $415,000 in three decades. The Angels can also leave in six years, which means the city can either be left with an empty venue that needs hundreds of millions in repairs or they can sell the stadium and surrounding land to Stan Kroenke.
