Understanding your anxiety isn’t the same as stopping it. Sometimes the next step isn’t more analysis. → try a 90-second drawing exercise live (no artistic skill required) → learn why drawing works differently from going for a walk → leave with one thing to try the next time your brain won’t let something go 🔗 Register for Wednesday: iwt.com/lorwennagle

Reminds me of the marketing for trucks, which focuses on functionality and strength rather than status, which is a central reason that Americans buy them
Snickers' marketing is so strange. it's never about tasting good, it's advertised as a total practicality, just to deal with hunger

Degrees*
Replying to @ramit
Instead of describing yourself as "educated", it may be more accurate to say that you "have a degree". Specificity matters.

Shouldn't surprise you. I'm educated, I want to pay higher taxes to help the poor & middle class, and I support universal healthcare, guaranteed voter rights, eliminating single-family zoning, ending the filibuster, ending ICE and prosecuting its leadership and officers for their illegal actions, no parking minimums, higher minimum wage, gun control, reducing the military budget, massively increasing immigration, ending qualified immunity, a national program to fight white extremism, justice for 1/6, allowing student loans to be discharged in bankruptcy, massively increased housing of all forms, even more expanded funding for IRS, universal childcare, expanded SCOTUS, ending private prisons, and removing housing subsidies including mortgage interest deductions
How are any young men left wing I genuinely don’t understand

A fun game to play is to read all the angry white supremacists posting below, then try to guess who’s more likely to want to trade places in life — them or me?

What's your Rich Life? You should be able to answer with incredibly specific answers Bad answers: - "Financial freedom" is just words - "So I can do what I want, when I want" is vague In my early 20s, my Rich Life was taking a taxi in the August NYC heat so I didn't have to sweat before a meeting Then it was affording appetizers because, as a kid, we couldn't). Get so specific that your Rich Life becomes unmistakably yours
