Right now there is a group of Russians fighting with Ukraine against Putin.
Today we’re joined by Ash, an assault trooper and combat medic who fled Russia a few years ago to join the @legion_svoboda. We talk about his decision to fight alongside Ukraine, the unique ways the Legion is expanding their ranks and details on life as medic in modern war.

Respect, @alexsalvinews, for your courage in taking on this challenging assignment and making it back to report on the situation inside Oleshky.
I was tasked by @FLOTUS @melaniatrump to act as the lone American media representative on the ground reporting on the humanitarian mission in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Oleshky.
I traveled with delegations from Russia and Ukraine—guided by the Russian military—to the frontline war-torn city to observe the evacuation of 800 people who have been trapped in the crossfire since the town was captured in 2022.
Traveling through Russia, Crimea and, finally, occupied Ukraine, we witnessed the tragedies that have been brought on by Vladimir Putin’s invasion.
The mission was a success. @newsmax
"Israel has shared intelligence with the United States asserting that Iran is considering the use of chemical weapons against its adversaries, information met with alarm by some American officials and deep skepticism by others, according to U.S. and regional officials.
Israel has shared some of the information with officials in Gulf countries. Several doubted that Iran was developing plans to use chemical weapons and believe Israel is trying to push the United States and its partners to return to a more intense phase of the war."

Business Insider has updated this article.
"An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that ORQA and General Cherry were building an underground factory in Ukraine. Those plans did not materialize, and their partnership is now exclusively focused on EU-based drone manufacturing. The story has been updated."
Working in Ukraine "creates an opportunity to really channel this sort of operational expertise to shape these products. And then these products can be made to a standard that NATO demands," ORQA'S CEO Srđan Kovačević told Business Insider. bit.ly/4euRGnZ
Dog attack mid-recording yesterday. Helly usually just sits calmly in the background but not this time.
Really interesting interview with a Russian fighting with Ukraine in the Freedom of Russia Legion set to come out soon!

I was one of the only foreign journalists present at this evening's clash at the National Guard facility in a suburb outside Kyiv. Here's what you need to understand. Long and difficult thread.
Wish their ‘voter audit’ would have caught that I moved out of Texas six years ago.

Iranian Mehr news reports that the IRGC is claiming a US MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down over the Strait of Hormuz
Iran says they will open the Strait of Hormuz in two days if the US lifts sanctions and releases billions in frozen Iranian assets.

UGV fakes out an FPV.
That's a weird sentence. Footage posted to a Russian Telegram channel but not clear which drone is theirs.

Ukraine’s CODE 9.2 unit has carried out its third aerial evacuation of a wounded soldier using SkyFall’s StarGate heavy drone.
The drone flew over 15 km to rescue a 54-year-old soldier who had spent 57 days on his position after being wounded by a mine.
The technology only began appearing in Ukrainian units a few weeks ago, and we already have four publicly known aerial drone evacuations, three of them using StarGate.
Russian milbloggers are quoting this saying, "Tell Trump: to end the war in Ukraine, you need to strike at the 'largest concentration of the Russian military' in the heroic city of Kyiv"
Trump:
I could have won the Vietnam War in a week.
They kept bombing forests for years instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ho Chi Minh City was called Saigon during the war. It was the capital of South Vietnam, the US ally, and was renamed only in 1976. The US did repeatedly bomb North Vietnam's capital, Hanoi, including the 1972 Christmas bombing.

Some of the heaviest fighting of the war in Ukraine is happening in Donetsk, just outside of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk and today we’re talking with one of the officers overseeing that defense.
