I didn't have any controls, and to make changes I prompted Opus even for minor changes.
Sooo.. decided to revamp our video editor :D

Seems like we've cracked how we can make freeform easier for everyone 😁
Every year spent 30 mins on Figma to create our Black Friday banner because I could move things around..

We made a 90-second film for @postnitroai by @muneeb_builds.
Maya writes her carousel in minutes, then loses an hour designing it, fixing off-brand slides and posting to six apps by hand.

This was a roller coaster ride, truly! Mostly fun because I got to reconnect with so many of our early users..
The entire time I kept getting messages on how they can help push the launch to #1. Mostly scammers with zero traction on their own profiles .. but got to know a few really good people.
We had the #7 spot locked in, but by the end we retained the position from our previous launch and got #9.
Now what actually matters, we got 147 visitors from ProductHunt of these we only got 4 sign ups 😅
No new trials, no one availed the 40% off code ..
Our existing user base started messaging me on how they can connect Claude and ChatGPT to PostNitro. Which I think is a solid win for us! Helped them get started and I could sense the happiness and excitement in their voice..
One other good thing was that some accounts organically created posts about the trending products, and we got mentioned there.
Alot of the posts we created, and the ones from PH were indexed by Google. So, hoping that it helps get organic growth 🥳

Mid launch I came to a realization that the time, energy and effort I had put into pushing people to go to PH I should actually spend promoting the platform :D
Overall a fun experience.
Would I launch there again? Yes, I would. Just to feel the rush again 🤣
