Incredibly excited that the day has finally arrived. Tonight, we are celebrating the launching of the expanded second edition of our book, Peace by Chocolate, with its wonderful author and our dear friend Jon Tattrie, at the Antigonish Heritage Museum.
The Canadian story is one of kindness and compassion and our side of it is just a small reflection of how great this country is.
Over the past decade, Antigonish was and still is at the heart of everything we have built. This community has been part of every milestone along the way.
Can't wait for the big celebration. Thank you all for your support throughout these incredible 10 years. 🇨🇦❤️

Lake Ontario chocolate bars, coin purses and sweatshirts are just a small sampling of the products that are seeing a surge in sales since Trump renamed the body of water.

ALT Peace by Chocolate made a Lake Ontario chocolate bar, as shown in this handout photo, after U.S. president Donald Trump changed the body of water's name to Lake America. THE CANADIAN PRESS/Handout-Peace by Chocolate handout (Mandatory credit)
The name on the wrapper of all our bars matters to us. We’re glad it matters to so many of you, too. Thank you to The Canadian Press for featuring our Lake Ontario bar and the response it has received, with coverage shared by @CTVNews and @CityNews

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day to listen and honour the voices and stories of Survivors. Let’s take some time to reflect and remember.
Reconciliation begins with truth and continues with what we choose to do with it.

Happy International Day of Peace!
We often say we’re not in the business of chocolate; we’re in the business of peace.
That mission found a home in Canada—a country that gave us the chance to belong again.
Today, we celebrate that peace, and remember those still dreaming of it ☮️

The family is a true motivational story of Syrian refugees taken in by Canada and they've built a thriving Chocolate business based on the one they had in Syria.

Sep 9th 2017 was the Grand Opening of our factory in Antigonish, Nova Scotia 🇨🇦!
It was an incredible day with tears and smiles to have realized our dream in Canada after our factory in Syria was bombed. We reflect on that unforgettable day and extend our thanks to all of you.

Very honoured that the Toronto Star shared the story of our @Peacebychoco Lake Ontario bar and the Canadian businesses standing up for our country. 🇨🇦
That happened because the people behind Peace by Chocolate genuinely believe in this country.
Today, everyone in my family feels an enormous responsibility to stand up for the country that stood up for us.
Lake Ontario is part of the history of this country. The name has centuries of history, including the Indigenous history that came long before any of us.
We put Lake Ontario on a bar because sometimes you have to say what you believe.
We believe in this country. And we are incredibly proud to call Canada home.
Lake Ontario will always be Lake Ontario. ❤️🇨🇦

I just love this sooooo much... 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
From the Canadian company Peace By Chocolate.
"Today, an executive order attempted to rename Lake Ontario.
We created this bar to keep the name Lake Ontario visible. “ONTARÍ’IO” is an Indigenous name that existed long before today’s borders. That history should not be erased.
So we put the name where people can see it: on a Canadian-made chocolate bar, as part of our long-standing Canada Collection.
It was Lake Ontario yesterday. It is Lake Ontario today. And it will be Lake Ontario tomorrow. 🇨🇦"
