What an incredible Colour Run we had this week! Our children dashed, danced and giggled their way through clouds of colour, turning the whole field into a rainbow. A huge thank you to our wonderfully generous families and community. Together, you helped us raise well over £3,000

🌟 A Proud Moment for Kirkstead Junior Academy 🌟 We are deeply honoured to have received a letter from the Secretary of State for Education congratulating our school on the exceptional outcomes achieved by our disadvantaged pupils in the 2024/25 academic year.

Today we were honoured to welcome the Royal British Legion into school. They spoke to the children about their service, showed them their medals, and helped them hang their poppy bunting. The poppy is a powerful symbol of remembrance. @royalbritishlegion thank you

Science Day Success We had an incredible Science Day today. The children carried out fascinating investigations and hands-on experiments, exploring the world around them with curiosity and creativity. Science is truly wonderful because it helps us ask big questions.

🎉 Today was an exciting day for Pinxton Village Academies! 🌟 All children from John King Infant Academy, Longwood Infant Academy, and Kirkstead Junior Academy attended a very special event at the PASS Centre — the launch of our first ever Academic Leaders Session! 🎓✨

Year 6 pupils spent the day cooking a Ghanaian Tomato Stew and Brazilian Truffles for their parents and carers. It was lovely to welcome families into school to enjoy the delicious food and celebrate the diverse flavours and cultures represented.

What an incredible Aspiration Day we’ve had! It was truly wonderful to see the future doctors, dentists, vets, nurses, teachers, dancers, ice skaters, footballers, explorers, superheroes, head teachers, firefighters, and police officers of tomorrow sharing their hopes and dreams

Year 2 had the best day on their school trip to Cleethorpes. As part of their enquiry, they were looking at the geographical features of the coast. They loved exploring the beach and having a ride on the train. Memories made and fun had! #SchoolTrip #Year2 #Cleethorpes #Geography
