In March of 1980 two young rappers from los angeles appeared on the "Chikara Kurahashi Hit Station" variety show in Tokyo. It was the first time rap music had ever been performed in Asia and here is the lost tape of People Under The Stairs "Trippin' at the Disco"

Everyone always asks if Thes One was really on The Price Is Right and the answer is yes, he did come on down. Who else misses Bob?

Inspiration for People Under the Stairs has always come from the old school stuff like George Clinton and James Brown. It’s cool to seek inspiration from things outside of what you do.

People Under the Stairs always focused on the music. Even when Rap music wasn’t mainstream, they kept grinding. Shout out to Odd Future for bringing a new generation into the culture.
