Liquidity can also become infrastructure for the Reserve Index. Balancer's multi-asset architecture gives the Reserve Index a single onchain liquidity surface across Overlaid Assets, BTC, ETH and tokenized gold. The portfolio remains transparent and accessible onchain, while its liquidity can be used permissionlessly whenever the ecosystem needs it. At the same time, the pool creates additional swap routes across Overlayer and turns reserve liquidity into another source of protocol fees.
