That’s a wrap on the first OptiFest! For three days, customers and partners from around the world travelled to Corvallis, Oregon and walked through almost every door of our headquarters. No booth, no demo reel. The actual volumes, the actual factory, and the actual people: the engineers who design the cameras, the developers who write the code, and a support team that has seen more mocap setups than almost anyone in the industry. They didn’t just see the roadmap, they changed it. #IROS2026 ended the only way it should: with a robot party.

Robots of every shape and size made their way through the venue, but through one of our Primex41 cameras, Opti was hard to miss, shining bright like a diamond with 70+ reflective markers.

In normal light, he’s just our quadruped demo. In #mocap he’s the life of the party.

Tiny markers. Real-time data. Sub-10 ms latency. Mean error of ~0.5mm across over 70 markers. This IR view shows OptiTrack tracking 4mm markers on Opti - our ground truth demo at #IROS2026 - filmed using a first of its kind mobile IR camera rig.
